I have visited Jardines 3 times now. I'm getting electrolysis treatment done. Laina is very knowledgeable and helpful from start to finish. I've had very little hair regrowth. I'm very happy with the results. It's a lovely place, the staff are professional and friendly. I was comfortable and put at ease. The price was very reasonable.

It can be used in conjunction with acupuncture or alone depending on the individual patient. It is ideal for patients who dislike the idea of needles. An appropriate massage oil is generally used and exercises may be given for the patient to do at home. It is a deep, strong massage and highly effective.
Fertility Acupuncture
Assessment of the patients health and a complete medical history is taken, including tongue and pulse diagnosis. Current or past fertility treatments/pregnancies are also taken into account. Treatment is with acupuncture, homeopathy and dietary/ lifestyle advice. Acupuncture can be used  in conjunction with IVF and will improve the chances of its success. A course of treatments, tailored to the patient's individual needs, will be necessary. Point prescriptions vary according to the phases of the  menstrual cycle, so it is important to persevere with the treatments over several months in order to achieve the desired results.
Allergy Testing up to €40
Many people find an improvement in their health and wellbeing when they eliminate certain foods and other items such as some  toiletries, cosmetics from their lifesytle. Allergy( or,more correctly, intolerance) testing pinpoints , through Kinesiology, those foods and substances which may be creating ill health. The patient simply touches the suspect food , whilst the practitioner tests the reflex of the anterior deltoid muscle (in the upper arm). If the patient is able to hold the arm up, the food is okay. If, however, the muscle feels weak and the patient cannot hold it up, then the food is a stress to the patient. Further testing can be done to ascertain which specific system of the body is being challenged by the substance and also to pinpoint which remedies (nutritional or homeopathic) may be beneficial.

Tui Na €50 - €60
What is Tui Na? Tui Na (pronounced "Twee-Na") is a type of therapeutic massage.  It's history is thousands of years old and it has developed into a highly successful and modern system of medicine.   It is one of the pillars of Traditional Chinese Medicine and is often used in combination with other branches of Chinese medicine like acupuncture or Chinese herbal medicine.   That said, Tui Na can excel as a therapy in it's own right.  It is used in all the major hospitals in China where it is so effective that it is classed as a distinct medical system in it's own right. WHAT CAN TUI NA TREAT? Tui Na can be used in a variety of situations, anything from a general massage to treatment for sports injuries.  It is particularly useful in treating pain conditions... •Neck pain and Frozen Shoulder                     •Headache   •Low energy / Poor circulation   •Digestive Disorders  •Back pain / Sciatica     •Rheumatism / Arthritis       •Joint pain / Limited Movement   •Ankle or Wrist pain  •Sports injuries   •Stress / Anxiety  •Insomnia  •Gynaecological Problems

Deep Tissue Massage from €60
Deep Tissue Massage targets the deep tissue structure of the fascia and muscles, referred to as connective tissue. Of the many types of massage, deep tissue focuses on the release of muscle tension and chronic knots. Deep tissue massage can break up and eliminate scar tissue from previous injuries. A common problem is that stressed muscles can block nutrients and oxygen from getting to where they need to go, and this will cause inflammation that allows toxins to build up in your muscle tissue.  The inflammation and toxins contribute to pain and stress. Deep Tissue Massage breaks up and releases the built-up toxins by loosening the muscles. With the toxins released, blood and oxygen can circulate as they should through one’s body. Being properly hydrated before you go to your massage appointment and drinking plenty of water after one of these massages is highly recommended. The strokes used in deep tissue massage are similar to those used in a Swedish Massage except more pressure is used and it uses cross grain strokes (strokes that go across the gain of the muscles instead of with the grain). As with a classic Swedish massage, you will be lying on a massage table and covered with a sheet or towel. A good way to recover from a Deep Tissue Massage is by soaking in a warm bath with Epsom salt. This soaking is recommended because it will help get more of the toxins out of your body (Epsom salt draws the toxins out into the water). Your muscles need some rest after one of these massages, even if you feel no soreness. So do not plan any activities within a day of a Deep Tissue Massage. Some people think that if you just push hard enough, a knot could be worked out in one session, but this is not the case. For built-up tension and chronic knots (adhesions) deep tissue massage is just one part of the treatment.

Deep Tissue Massage from €60
Deep tissue massage is effective because of its technique - consisting of slower, stronger massage that stimulates deep into muscles. It aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the fibers of the muscles, tendons and fascia. In many cases, a deep tissue massage has replaced the classic Swedish massage in terms of frequency of use. Whereas visitors to any spa around the country may have traditionally sought out a massage that simply relaxed, now they are seeking a massage that also stimulates, conditions, and heals.

Tui Na
Tui Na is a form of Chinese manipulative therapy often used in conjunction with acupuncture, moxibustion, fire cupping, Chinese herbalism, tai chi, and qigong.Tui na is a hands-on body treatment that uses Chinese taoist and martial arts principles in an effort to bring the eight principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) into balance. The practitioner may brush, knead, roll/press, and rub the areas between each of the joints, known as the eight gates, to attempt to open the bodys defensive (wei) chi and get the energy moving in the meridians and the muscles. The practitioner can then use range of motion, traction, and massage, with the stimulation of acupressure points. These techniques are claimed to aid in the treatment of both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, as well as many non-musculoskeletal conditions.
