Care&CureAcupuncture&ChineseMedicine Dun Laoghaire

(01) 525 5357 53 Lower George Street, Dun Laoghaire, A96X7K2
Rating from 8 Reviews Good adviseRachael, wicklow, 24 Jan 15

Very well. Good advise and follow up.

Massage €10  -  €80
Chinese massage is a form of therapy, which involves applying structured therapy to the soft tissues of the body or successively to the whole body. Chinese massage can be used to heal injury, relieve stress, manage pain and improve circulation. Chinese Massage can also be used to manipulate acupuncture points to lose weight, clear congestion, ease digestion problems and calm anxiety. Sessions typically last anything from 20 – 45 minutes and pricing is directly correlated to time.
Reflexology Up to €40
Reflexology is a gentle non-invasive therapy based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet, hands and ears that correspond to every organ gland and system in the body. By stimulating these reflexes, reflexology encourages deep healing and tranquil relaxation. This therapy is particularly beneficial for joint mobilisation, migraine, sinus, digestion, back problems and stress related conditions as it discharges negativity and stimulates the body’s own immune system for self-healing. It can also enhance general well-being so why not book yourself a treat and pop into your local Care Cure Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine for a soothing reflexology session. Sessions typically last about 35 minutes and prices vary with time allowed for treatment.
Acupressure €10  -  €40
Acupressure is a good alternative for anyone suffering from a phobia of needles as it follows the same principle as acupuncture. It works by stimulating the same acupuncture points on the surface of the body but instead of using needles, the practitioner will apply pressure with the hands. Acupressure is an effective method of improving blood circulation and repairing tissue damage throughout the body. Via nerve stimulation acupressure can induce relaxation and improve skin tone, ease tension in muscles and joints, repair facial lymph damage and generally tone the body. For this reason it is often used as a facial beauty therapy. Acupressure has also seen considerable success in curing insomnia, lessening fatigue and dispelling back and joint pain.

Rating from 6 Reviews Little to no pain and I can see a difference alreadyAimee, Dublin , 22 May 17

The salon is lovely, and Stella is the best around for Electrolysis! I have been to 4 different salons, 2 of them use the old sterex machine (Painful and more time consuming causes skin to react), and two used the Aplius Platinum (rouge being one of them) The treatment in Rouge was the best out of all of the salons I went too, little to no pain and I can see a difference already. I would highly recommend this salon and Stella, if you're thinking of Electrolysis this is the best place with the most advanced up to date equipment. The salon was lovely.

Rating from 1 Review I'm a happy customerCarl, Ireland, 09 Apr 15

Groin injury I've been to numerous physios over the years and left not really satisfied with the end results. DK was recommended to me by a professional athlete so I decided to give it a go. Darren listened to my issues, made an assessment, explained the problem in an easy to understand way and set to work. I've had 3 sessions so far, my mobility and range of movement has far exceeded my expectations. I couldn't be happier. Side note, the price is far more competitive than my previous experience with physio's which is a massive bonus. All in all I'm a happy customer.

Rating from 1 Review Movement in shoulder has improved a lotLillian, Ireland, 15 Jul 15

I am having treatment for a frozen shoulder, I have had 2 sessions of physio and dry needle theraphy and it is going very well, movement in shoulder has improved a lot. Eileen is very friendly and makes you feel very relaxed as soon as you arrive. I chose clinic in Terenure as it is close to where I live and friends and my husband had been treated there previously with excellent results. It is also easy to get an appointment that works around my working hours.

Rating from 1 Review I am very pleasedOrla, dublin, 04 Feb 15

I am not very familiar with attending a sports therapist and more used to a sports massage which is very different but I am very pleased with the first visit whereby my mind was put to rest as to what the problem could be and I was given useful exercises to follow. Follow up appointment is next week.
