Up until 2004, I worked in a job which held little stimulation for me and I lived mainly for  weekends. When I was made redundant in 2004 , I decided to use the opportunity to finally follow my dream. I began by studying Neuro-Muscular Therapy and Sports Massage, because of my keen interest in football, and enjoyed the courses immensely. During my first year as a qualified Neuro-Muscular therapist, I developed a strong interest in Reiki healing, and qualified as a Reiki and Seichim Master in 2007.  I found that many aspects of my life began to change in a positive way, and still continue to change. After completing all the levels of Reiki/Seichim, I went on to do further  energy work with Kathleen Milner (founder of Tera-Mai Reiki), including working with Sakara and Cahokia energies. While working part-time as a Sports Massage and Reiki therapist, I returned to College, this time to study Naturopathy. I was interested in learning in-depth about topics including Bach Flower Remedies, Tissue Salts and Iridology, so that I could integrate this knowledge into my Energy Healing and Sports Massage practice. These experiences really enable you to step back from the stresses and confusions of life that we all feel, and even more profoundly so, now. I found myself experiencing a lovely sense of peace and a feeling of being nurtured and cared for. It’s a time when you can give yourself permission to be calm and take time out to feed your soul and inner spirit. Carla is a wonderful and loving human being who cares deeply for her clients. She is a very devoted and conscientious therapist. I have also received Reflexology, Hot stone massage and Reiki from Carla. Pure heaven! And what a relief for tired and sore body and muscles. I always treat myself to one of her beautiful hand-made products, created with all-natural products and essential oils; body scrubs, balms, sleep potions, etc. Just bliss! I go to Iwona to get a full body massage. I have a problem with my neck and shoulder. So I decided I would get reflexology this time from her. She explains the treatment in relation to reflexology, but also works in a holistic way to provide an enjoyable /relaxing /healing experience. She is very passionate about what she can offer her clients. I wasn't sleeping great and I had a great sleep after my treatment. I am looking forward to my next treatment. I have no hesitation in recommending Iwona to others who are open to find ways of helping improve their health and wellbeing. DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE Deep tissue massage is a specialised massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscles. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as adhesions). Deep tissue massage is used to release chronic muscle tension through slower strokes and more direct deep pressure or friction applied along or across the muscles.
