About Roisin's NMT

The clinic is based in the quiet countryside of Kilbrittain overlooking the sea. The clinic also offers treatment in clients homes if desired. A full range of massage is offered from sports and injury massage to a simple relaxing neck and shoulder or back massage. Common injuries treated include back pain, repetitive strain injuries, tennis elbow  and frozen shoulder syndrome.

A qualified and registered NMT practitioner for both horses and people since 2010, accredited with the National School of Sports Massage and the College of Complementary Medical Education.

I have since gone on to study at masters level. While gaining a masters degree in England I worked closely with the colleges' two rugby teams and provided match day physio. Due to working with sports teams I also attained my taping and strapping qualifications.

Great experience and good to know we have such a lovely therapist in our area

5 50 Massage

My son has an on-going groin injury that can flare up during his hurling matches. He had an important semi final last Saturday and was determined to play. Roisin agreed to tape up his leg/groin area so that it supported the muscles during the game. Even though they lost the match he managed to play the entire game pain free and he was thrilled with that. Thanks so much Roisin!

A qualified NMT for both people and horses I started my career as a veterinary nurse in Kentucky where I became interested in alternative treatments for dealing with sport injuries. This led to studying neuromuscular therapy with the National Training College in Dublin on my return to Ireland. Initially I worked with riders and their horses but eventually got non rider clients. I decided to return to education to study for a masters in 2011 and while at college with the the two rugby teams there during their weekly matches. As a result of this I also achieved taping and strapping qualifications from Physique Management.
