iLASIK from £1195
ILASIK LASIK is the most common technique, this is mainly due to its faster healing times. A flap made from two layers of corneal tissue forms a natural protection around the eye during the recovery period. Most patients see instant results and return to work the next day
LASEK
LASEK from £595
Around 1 in 10 Optical Express patients are suited to LASEK. It is the better option for people with thin corneal tissue as only one layer is moved to reveal the cornea. A protective 'bandage' contact lens is placed over the eye to help with recovery. Healing time is around two weeks.

At Optegra we use the most advanced equipment for Laser Eye Surgery. All laser treatments involve the use of a laser to change the shape of your cornea and alter your eye’s focusing power. Making the procedure safer and more accurate with better results, and completely blade free for a faster recovery. LASIK (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis) is the most common laser treatment performed worldwide and is usually a two-stage procedure. It takes around 10 minutes to treat each eye. Once your eye has been anaesthetised, a femtosecond laser is used to create an extremely thin flap on your cornea (1). By using a laser instead of a blade, the flap can be created with greater precision and with minimal pain. The tissue under the flap is then reshaped using an excimer laser (2) before the flap is carefully placed back again (3).Every individual is different. You will need to have a consultation with one of our consultant surgeons who will conduct an in-depth assessment to determine your suitability and tailor an individual solution to you.LASIK is usually suitable for people with:Myopia (short-sightedness) Hyperopia (long-sightedness) Astigmatism (irregular- shaped cornea) £1,795 per eye

Making the procedure safer and more accurate with better results, and completely blade free for a faster recovery. LASEK (laser-assisted epithelial keratomileusis) is a surface treatment that avoids the need to create a corneal flap. The total treatment takes around 10 minutes per eye. It works by softening the thin upper layer of the cornea (1), called the epithelium, before moving it aside (3). An excimer laser (4) is then applied to the exposed tissue before the thin layer is put back in its original position (5). A special contact lens is then applied to protect the epithelium while it heals (6). Every individual is different. You will need to have a consultation with one of our consultant surgeons who will conduct an in-depth assessment to determine your suitability and tailor an individual solution to you. LASEK is suitable for people with: less serious eye focusing problemsthis corneasdry eye Unable to have LASIK £1,795 per eye

Accuvision Laser Eye Clinic - compiling

Accuvision Laser Eye Clinic

42-48, New Kings Road, Fulham, SW6 4LS
Accuvision is a leading laser eye surgery and eye care clinic. They offer a large portfolio of eye treatments for most of the eye abnormal conditions. They specialise in Laser eye corrective surgeries including cataracts. They offer various payment options, with upfront deposit followed by monthly instalments. They offer discounted prices for MOD, fire services personnel, police force etc.
Laser Eye Surgeon Consultation
Accuvision prides itself on offering consultations to patients that are objective, honest and aimed at passing knowledge and information to the patient about their vision and the options they have available to them. Naturally the most advanced diagnostics are used to determine the most appropriate treatment plan but there is NO upselling of treatments, we are expert in what we do and only offer the most effective treatment plan that will give the patient the best results. Patients should never be put under pressure to book for surgery or be penalised financially IF they change their mind about surgery after a booking. Every patient on an Accuvision surgery day is under no financial pressure to proceed to treatment, which is the way all clinics should operate, but don't so beware!
LASIK
Accuwave LASIK treatments are offered at Accuvision laser eye surgery clinics. These use the highly advanced Alcon Wavelight technology that has been proven to deliver exceptional results for patients. Coupled with our 'thin flap' treatment plan, we are able to safely treat almost every patient, even those found 'unsuitable' at other clinics. Patients with prescriptions of -12.00 can be safely treated. Patients with high astigmatism can also be treated and those patients with presbyopia or age related longsightedness can be treated effectively at Accuvision.
LASEK
Accuvision offer a more advanced treatment than LASEK, called Trans-Epi. We are one of the few clinics in the country that can offer this advanced treatment and have been doing so for over 10 years. Rather than kill eye cells with alcohol, a more effective treatment is to use the laser to smooth the surface of the eye and then apply the treatment plan. In doing so the epithelium is able to grow back more rapidly and provide a quicker healing of the eye and a more predictable result. Please contact us for more information on this procedure.
