Optical Express - Bournemouth - Richmond House

0203 514 1518 ext: 39981 Richmond House, Richmond Hill,, Bournemouth, BH2 6EZ
FRating from 1 Review I can state quite categorically that Optical Express is definitely leaders in their chosen fieldPauline, UK, 01 Oct 17

Due to the inability of the NHS to provide my wife Pauline the care we expected for her cataracts, with a great reservation we decided to go private. Those fears we found were totally unfounded as the service and the care provided by Optical Express was beyond our wildest dreams. From the fantastic service provided by all at the Bournemouth Offices together with much courtesy, coffee, information and reassurance to the incredible service at the Bristol Clinic on the day of the first operation. I can state quite categorically that Optical Express is definitely leaders in their chosen field. They Rock!!!

Each laser eye consultation involves: the required preparation testsan examination with your specialist refractive optometrista patient-counsellor follow-up discussionThe comprehensive laser eye consultation takes approximately two hours, during which one of our specialist refractive optometrists will determine whether you are a suitable candidate for laser vision correction. The optometrist will also explain the procedure that is most suited to your individual needs and answer all of your questions so that you can make an informed decision. What’s more, if your laser eye consultation concludes that you are not a suitable laser vision correction candidate now, you may be one in the future as new technologies emerge.
iLASIK From £1195
LASIK is the most common technique, this is mainly due to its faster healing times. A flap made from two layers of corneal tissue forms a natural protection around the eye during the recovery period. Most patients see instant results and return to work the next day
LASEK From £595
Around 1 in 10 Optical Express patients are suited to LASEK. It is the better option for people with thin corneal tissue as only one layer is moved to reveal the cornea. A protective 'bandage' contact lens is placed over the eye to help with recovery. Healing time is around two weeks.
