Dr Aga Kucharska

Job Title:
  Practice Therapist
Biography:
ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Holistic Massage, Diploma in Advanced and Deep Tissue Techniques. Registered member of: CThA. She a qualified Holistic and Deep Tissue Massage Therapist. I use a combination of Swedish and Deep tissue massage as well as Neuromuscular Therapy to address muscular tension and postural imbalances. Before each session I take some time to discuss the needs of the client in order to tailor the treatment for the best possible results. She have a long standing interest in therapy, bodywork and healing, and I am fascinated by the body-mind connection and the body's natural ability to restore balance and return to health. I have been interested in mindfulness for a number of years and have a regular yoga practice. I'm currently undergoing a Yoga Teacher Training with The Independent Yoga Network. My yoga practice underpins and strengthens my bodywork treatments. When needed, I can provide exercises at the end of a session to help keep the client on track in between sessions.

Dr Alex Lal

Job Title:
  Practice Therapist
Biography:
He practice whilst being grounded by original training from the British School of Osteopathy (2000) and post graduate training in Energy Psychology and Dry Needling is extremely instinctive, using touch and palpation to “listen” to your body, assisting treatment direction and healing. He see the body as highly adaptive in that it deals with a great deal of stress - both physiological and psychological - which can have both positive and negative effects. In the short term many patients are able to cope but ultimately the stress is merely being held “inside.” Patients often come to me once their body is finally unable to cope and they feel pain, stiffness or simply imbalanced.

She holds a BSc (Hons) Health Sciences/Naturopathy degree from the University of Westminster and also has a BA (Hons) Philosophy degree from the University of Leeds, which she feels provided the backbone to her special interest in the mind-body connection. Alex believes that good health starts in our outlook and regularly incorporates mindfulness/transformative coaching into her practice. Former journalist, Alex, turned to natural alternatives following a relapse of a serious health problem. Happily avoiding surgery, she discovered that an holistic, natural approach worked so well that she was inspired to study naturopathy in order to help others. Registered Member of:Alex is fully registered with the General Council and Register of Naturopaths (GCRN). She is also a member of the British Naturopathic Association and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.
