I was treated by Antonio who has a very professional approach. He followed it up with an informative email and phone call regarding possible treatment for my persistent back ache. Unfortunately, there is no quick or easy solution to this kind of problem which is mostly brought on by age and therefore due to wear and tear. Antonio suggested exercise and possibly acupuncture to help with the pain. I shall continue with my Yoga class. If this proves inadequate I shall go back to the Horder for acupuncture sessions.

Having 'crashed' into the menopause like a mad person, I'd tried changing my diet, herbal remedies, exercising more but nothing stopped the horrendous hot flashes every hour, day and night. After 3 months of no proper sleep, I was desperate and thought I'd give acupuncture a try. Sceptical at first, I was really impressed with the time Judy took to discuss all my 'symptoms' and we decided to start with the night flashes as I was so sleep deprived. It was amazing! After my very first session, I didn't feel any different but the hot flashes seemed less severe and I slept for 5 hours which was heaven. I've since had two more and I hardly notice the flashes and have been sleeping for 8 hours solid every night. I feel more like my old self again. I can't thank Judy enough and I would definitely recommend her to anyone suffering from the menopause but doesn't want HRT. Worth every penny! I searched online for an acupuncturist near me and found Judy. She looked about my age and so I thought she would understand how dreadful the menopause can be for some people. She was very understanding, gave me plenty of time to talk and discussed the treatment. I found her very reassuring and genuinely interested in me. Her practice is very well presented and is quiet and peaceful and only a few minutes away. A very rewarding experience. Highly recommended.
