Reflexology involves specific reflex pressure point massage on areas of the foot to stimulate and relieve areas of congestion.

Deep Tissue Massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia.  It  uses many of the same movements and techniques as lighter styles eg Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots. 

Reiki is simply the ‘laying on’ of hands on or slightly above the body, the energy flows through the practitioner to the person receiving. It is this flow of energy which facilitates the unique ability of the body to heal itself. The client lies on a plinth (massage table), fully clothed, covered with a blanket for comfort and eyes closed if preferred. As energy flows most people will feel warmth, heat, tingling, or other sensations, some fall asleep or they may feel nothing all at. Reiki is a healing experience that is individual for each client. The energy has an intelligence of its own, knowing where to go and what is needed for each client. Because of this each treatment is unique. A reflexologist applies pressure to the point on the foot or hand, whichrelates to the a specific part of the body. The organs, whichare for instance on the right side of the body, are represented on the rightfoot or right hand, whereas those that are on the left side of the body arerepresented on the left foot or left hand. With the increased pressure, these parts get stimulated and there is increasedactivity and blood flow to these regions.
