MARIEVA MEDCARE WELLBEING is a private specialised centre for mental health, rehabilitation and wellbeing based in Athens, Greece. Alissa Koritsoglou, LAc’s specialties include but are not limited to women's health, fertility, mental health, digestive and internal medicine. When working with Alissa you will find that she has a keen understanding of acupuncture and Oriental medicine, as well as a compassionate touch and a sensitivity that allows for deep healing and relaxation. Alissa has served as a member of the clinical faculty at both Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine and Yosan University. Alissa has also practiced acupuncture and integrative medicine at Venice Family Clinic’s Simms/Mann Health and Wellness Center as well as UCLA Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness Clinic, working collaboratively with other healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, and chiropractors. In addition to her acupuncture practice, Alissa's passion for bodywork is far-reaching. Alissa studied Massage Therapy at the International Professional School of Bodywork in San Diego, California, and completed over 1,000 hours of study in Asian healing arts. Specializing in shiatsu and acupressure, her passion and dedication to this ancient medicine sparked a lifelong journey and practice into understanding and recognizing the importance of indigenous medicine and preserving the practices.
