Dr Tara Clapp
B.Sc., N.D entered Guelph University, eager to begin her learning. She held a part-time job at the Bank of Montreal throughout her university career and during the summers enrolled in continuing education courses offered by the university. After completing first year, she became interested in human health and enhancement and transferred into the Human Biology program. Tara became a graduate in 1994, receiving her Bachelor of Science (honours), with a Specialized Honours in Human Biology, a minor in Child Studies and a second minor in Nutrition. In 1996, Tara was accepted into the naturopathic program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. In addition to the typical courses offered in medical school, she also learned the natural therapies such as Chinese medicine and acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition, nutritional supplementation, homeopathy, chiropractic, and counselling. In the year 2000, she became a member of the largest graduating class ever recorded at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
