Dr Vivienne Tilyard

Biography:
Dr. Vivienne Tilyard completed her Osteopathic degree at Victoria University, Melbourne. Her interest in the anatomy and function of the human body led her to the field of osteopathy. She completed her masters research thesis in the use of evidence based treatment in osteopathic practice and so is passionate about providing safe and effective treatment to her patients. Vivienne enjoys treating the wide variety of conditions that present to osteopaths and is enthusiastic about her role in aiding the body to reach peak health. She has a special interest in educating patients through exercise prescription and ergonomic advice to improve posture, prevent sports related injuries and manage common conditions, including headaches and disc injuries. Vivienne takes an active interest in her own health, regularly practicing Pilates for strength and fitness and hopes to complete further studies in core stabilisation and strength training in the future

Dr Nicola Shelton

Biography:
Dr. Nicola Shelton studied a double-degree of Osteopathy at Victoria University in Melbourne, where she grew up. Nicola was steered towards Osteopathy through her own sporting experiences, having trained and competed in gymnastics for 9 years. She undertook injury prevention and rehabilitation programs and worked with physiotherapists during that time. It was during her gymnastics career that Nicola discovered her passion for the study and treatment of the human body. After the completion of her studies, Nicola has gained more than 7 years of clinical experience treating patients within her local community for complaints ranging from headaches, arthritis, RSI and postural strains. She has a special interest in sporting injuries and rehabilitation, incorporating the use of Pilates to complement the treatment. In recent years she has developed a passion for the management and rehabilitation of pregnancy pain and instability.

Dr Connie Petousis

Biography:
Dr. Connie Petousis completed her Bachelor of Clinical Science and Masters in Osteopathy at Victoria University, Melbourne. Her passion to become an Osteopath developed from an early age through childhood experiences visiting an osteopath. During her studies Connie worked closely with the De La Salle old collegians football club as a sports trainer. She enjoys treating both acute and chronic sports related injuries and completed her Masters project in the use of compression garments on recovery in sports. Connie strongly believes in the osteopathic philosophy of treating the cause of the pain rather than just the symptoms, and enjoys the challenges that this brings. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and employs a wide variety of techniques both structural and indirect, as well as dry needling and sports taping.
