My boyfriend and I came to Istanbul for medical procedures. From the second we landed, it felt like a well-planned wellness trip. We were picked up in a private transfer and our hotel room had a panoramic view of the Bosphorus. That first night, we sat on the balcony, both nervous but excited. My surgery was on day two. Dr. G was calm and detailed. He explained how he’d keep the natural features of my face and just refine the tip and bridge. My boyfriend had his transplant the next day. They didn’t shave the front so it wouldn’t look obvious afterwards. We healed side by side, eating soups, watching Netflix, icing our faces. Nurses and translators are so professional yet friendly. They provide a 5-star service. We’re honestly thinking of coming back next year for veneers.

My positive experience at Smile clinic I did my hair transplant at Smile Hair Clinic on March 13th 2021. So, prior I did 2 months of extensive research of options in Turkey, found it overwhelming all the hair transplant options and sometimes conflicting reviews. After intense research, I had 3 clinics as my top options. I decided on Smile for customer reviews plus customer service. Smile Hair Clinic was 100% professional and honest with me since the beginning. Plus while I was doing my procedure two other guys were there because a work colleague of them for the company they work has his hair transplanted in Smile Clinic and they could judge the satisfactory results, so that gave me more confidence. I did my procedure on March 13th, I don't know the other clinics but based on their website claims and customer service I can confirm Smile Clinic is the best. Dr Mehmet Erdog and his team are true professionals that know what they are doing. Here is a summary of my experience: I live in Germany, I flew to Istanbul, I was picked up at the airport and taken to my hotel, the day of the procedure I was picked up at the hotel and taken to the clinic, they explained to you in detailed the procedure. I confirm other clinics are about quantity but Smile Hair Clinic is about quality and you noticed that throughout the process. When it gets to the most important phase: the "design" of your new hair, other clinics do transplant hair from the donor area to receiving area but the biggest difference with Smile hair clinic is how professional and experienced Dr Mehmet Erdog and his team are. On a side note, people say online is a 100% painless process, well that is not true, there is some pain but I think that is normal. Anaesthesia does hurt, after that is fine but the second time they apply anaesthesia to the transplanted area does hurt again (less than first time anaesthesia) you can experience small mild pain or burn intermittent for 2 weeks. Back to the process, during the design of your new hair look, they do it over and over until you and the experts are 100% satisfied, that is the most important part of the procedure so it looks natural. After that, anaesthesia does hurt but afterwards is good, they extract the hair from the donor area, lunchtime then anaesthesia again, with the exclusive package (which I recommend ) Dr. Makes the incision where your new hair will be, making sure is in the direction of your hair root. Then they implant one by one the new hair to their new home and finally wash and clean you. Big thanks to all the team they are super friendly and profesional, they know their work and have good skill hands. At the end they explained you the to do and not to do and in general the next days, weeks and months process and give you medication and care kit shampoo pillow etc. I stay in Istanbul longer so Monday (2 days after) they picked me up from hotel, take me to the clinic, wash my hair, the doctor saw me and made sure it was ok and explain to you again any remaining questions. Mattia (my case manager ) is the best always taking care of you, answering any question and doing great follow up, he helped me get a clinic for the Covid test where I received my result 3hr later to fly back to Germany and always answering any other questions plus he is funny and Italian hehe Two and a half weeks later it looks great, I have full hair density, looks just as if I had shaved my hair, I know the results are visible for 3 to 6 months but I am confident they will be satisfactory. Again, in my experience Smile hair clinic are professional, responsible value worth for the money and judging other people work you see on the street in Istanbul, you can tell Smile hair does a more professional job. My experience was 3 months ago, I had a DHI transplant. I can see the results even now which I am very much pleased with. The team took really good care of me from beginning to end, everyone was so attentive. Basically they picked me up from the airport and took me to my hotel which was a nice 5 star hotel. Everything was well-organized and the operation was a true success!! Nurses were highly experienced, they helped me through the process and thanks to them this process went smooth. Dr. Can, he has more than 10 years experience in the field and you can understand it in the blink of an eye!!! He explained me the whole process in details and gave me all the medications I need for post-operatiove phase. My package even included an amazing hair care set. No more words to describe my happines. I will be back for sure for my plasma injections.
