This is a wonderfully run clinic. As proof, this is my second trip to the place. The first time, I accompanied a friend who had the transplants done. The result was very successful. However, since my friend does not have a lot of hair and needed to add more, we came a second time with another friend who also wanted work done. In my particular case, my hairline was thinning and so I decided as well to join the club.

From the first communication with Ahmet, who coordinated everything, the entire procedure for all of us was smooth and seamless. As all our needs were not the same, Ahmet paid attention to make sure our individual needs were addressed accordingly. The pick up at the airport, the hotel accommodations, the actual procedure and post care were all as easy as one would want. There are many clinics in Istanbul - many of which are factories that do the same cookie cutter procedure regardless of ones particular needs. This is not the case here.

I would highly recommend this place especially if you want a professional, discreet, safe and clean environment. If I could, I would give them 10 stars. PS communication in English is absolutely no problem--i.e. our Turkish is non-existent...it took me a few days just to learn to say 'Thank you"! =)

I travelled from Ireland with a friend on 25th April this year. The moment we started contact we knew AEK was clinic for us. Serdar and the team were excellent. The moment we arrived in Istanbul we were collected brought to hotel and from that moment treated like kings. Everytime we were picked up drivers were on time. The day itself went smoothly and as for results we both already look like we simply shaved a full head of hair. Huge thanks to Serdar and all at AEK. We have already passed your details on to several more lads. Highly recommend AEK.

I would like to share my experience with anyone thinking to do hair implants in AEK. I am from London and been searching over the past 9 months of getting my crown area and a front bit is done as I am now 37yrs and simply getting older.

I have this mentally of searching a lot before I do any purchase such a car or etc. And as it’s Surgery I made sure I took my time to get it done with the right clinic and the right people. After contacting many clinics here in London I realised that I am looking at £6k just to get my front head done only. Then I start to search more and ask many hairdressers and they recommend me to travel to Turkey.

I contacted many clinics in Turkey and I made my final decision on AEK for the following reasons.
Pros:
1-Doctor Ali K is a real doctor and his team is super experienced.
2- The clinic specialised only for hair implants which means more experienced and practising.
3- 90 % of the review were positive and logically real reviews as some reviews your feelings would tell you if it’s real or not. If it’s logical or not.
4- an amazing staff with a friendly attitude and smiling all the times.
5- offering support and lunch and luxury hotel with luxury transportation from the airport and back to the airport.
6- Serdar Suvari & Gokce Cecen we the main cheerful and comedian characters that would take your stress away and they will keep checking on you from first seen and while the surgery.
7- Doctor Mortaza will keep coming while the surgery running to make sure everything is running okay and smoothly.

9- The clinic is just behind the hotel you staying in so no embarrassment to walk in the street while your band on.

10- The clinic was extremely clean and hygienic and super luxury.

11- luxury shopping mall just next to the hotel and the clinic for food, coffee and even clothes.

12- having a stylish hat to wear with aftercare package which other clinic gives you a fishing hat that makes you look like an idiot when you wear it especially when you go back to the UK.



Cons:
1-The only thing I would say the first hour of the surgery the local anaesthetic was painful and I would say just like when you having a tattoo.

2- the team speaks on their own language which I didn’t find that rude at all because it’s Turkish people which means they are natural, friendly and also working on your head for almost 6 hours it’s better to keep themselves active and awake to each other and also it’s nice to hear and listen to their language and learn more about new cultures so I would add this on the positive side actually.


Apart from that, the team was unbelievably professional and you can tell they do that for living and it’s their comfort zone. I could not be happier enough and I am grateful I made the right choice and chose AEK clinic. I would definitely recommend AEK to friends which I already started to do that now after all my friends kept asking me where I had it done.

I needed 3500 grafts and I decided on FUE mainly due to having my hair short. It was 2 day procedure because the Dr did all the graft removal and incisions himself which was very important for me. There was support from his staff at certain stages but they were very professional.

I chose AEK in the end after a lot of research. Finally my decision was due to the work Dr Ali had done within the hair transplant industry worldwide and his many years experience. I was not disappointed. All the staff were friendly and professional and with Dr speaking excellent English it made the whole experience easier.

Very professional! The operation and service were excellent. Dr. Emre did a detailed examination before the operation explaining to me what he thought was the best treatment plan. The surgical team seemed to know what they were doing and were very friendly. The price was reasonable considering all graft extractions were done by the doctor himself.
