Ailesbury Hair Clinic - Dublin

I had very positive experience at the Ailsbury hair clinic, Dublin- from the initial consultation to the procedure on the day. I wish to thank the whole team for how they feel at ease and for the standard of care they gave me.
The team were all extremely well trained and knew exactly what they were doing.

The process was entirely less painful than I had anticipated. I would definitely recommend Ailsbury hair clinic to anyone. I was very happy with post operative care the clinic provide allowing me to make phone calls or text message to ask questions and get advice. It was very reassuring. Again many thanks to the team at the clinic!

Pros: Very nice staff. Helpful receptionist. They take care seriously during the procedure and gave me food and drinks and made sure I was feeling okay.

Cons: The results are pretty bad. It’s 10 months later and the transplant is patchy (clumps of hair in some places and very thin coverage in others). It’s way thinner in general than I was expecting and I already had low expectations.

The result is basically that I’ll have to continue to get a very tight cut on my hair going forward for it to not look noticeably like a bad hair transplant. Not the worst result in the world because I’m still happy to have a hairline but I resent paying them so much when I could have got a much better result elsewhere by paying a bit more.

I think a lot of reviews here are placed very soon after the treatment and I would not recommend Ailesbury unless you plan to basically shave your head for the rest of your life.

Got my transplant done on Friday. So happy so far with the results and can not wait to see how it transforms in the next few months. From the first meeting with Joe I knew I chose the right place... On Friday getting it done the staff were so nice and friendly and answered any questions I had. It was pain free and I no swelling. Can’t thank Ailesburys staff enough looking forward to the results.

Had a great experience with the people at the Ailesbury hair clinic. From consultation to after care they were top notch. I'm 4 months in from the op and honestly don't know if my hair has ever looked better. They look after all your needs, make the procedure completely painless and equip you with all the info needed to look after your hair when done and are always very quick to get back to you if you have any questions at all. Well deserved 5 stars.

I booked my appointment 3 weeks ago and spoke to joe, I have seen him straight away within a few days. During the meeting with joe, I found him very professional and gave me peace of mind so I decided to book my hair surgery at the end of the meeting and was given a date to suit me.
I wanted it done ASAP, joe gave me his mobile number & said to call him anytime if I needed to ask any questions while I was waiting on my surgery, I did and he gave me the necessary info.

I had lots of calls & emails with Effie back & forward and she couldn’t have been more helpful nothing was an issue for her & she made things as easy as possible.

I arrived for my surgery on 23/02/21 at 11 am. I was 15 mins early I was seen straight away and taken to the pre-surgery area & given refreshments while I met with the two nurses (one male & one female) that were going to be with me during my surgery again very very helpful and put my mind at ease,

I then met with the surgeon that was going to be doing my surgery and she explained each step.

She was a very nice pleasant person down to earth & it’s always nicer to talk with people like this I think especially when you're going for surgery.
I followed her down to the operating theatre and it was time to start, the worst part was at the start getting the local anaesthetic to numb the area once this was done I didn’t feel much after that, 4000 hairs later 5/6 hrs I was walking out the door.

We stopped halfway through once the extraction was complete and I was given light refreshments 20mins later it was time to go down again.

Again I met with the female nurse at the end & she explained everything I needed to do for the coming weeks and months & gave me all the shampoos, creams, tables etc

So I can’t complain about anything and it was all positive for me. I’m very sorry I can’t remember the names of the surgeon & nurses given to me on the day ( nerves ).

Now it’s down to time & hopefully the result I’m looking for but I won’t know that for several months.

I would highly recommend this type of treatment to friends, family and anyone considering hair treatment. I have had 2 treatments to date and on both occasions the standard and procedures have been flawless. I had 4500 the first time & 4000 graphs just as recent as this week.

My experience with the Ailesbury clinic has been above excellent. The staff on both occasions made me feel very welcome and made my experiences very relaxing. All staff are very knowledgeable and understanding of worries you might have about the procedure.They explain the whole procedure and put you at ease from the start.
The clinic is a very warm and welcoming from when you step in the door. At my most recent operation, I met the doctor at front door who had just arrived for work and she introduced herself as we stood outside in the cold before we went inside.It was a simple friendly gesture at 7.30am but it gave such a self assuring feeling that I was in good hands for the rest of the day.
