Dr Woodland is an NHS consultant and University Senior Lecturer at the Royal London Hospital, a top London Teaching Hospital. He is expert in all areas of gastroenterology, and has a specialist interest in gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and swallowing disorders (he is a regular speaker on these subjects at international gastroenterology meetings). He is a skilled endoscopist in gastroscopy, colonoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound.
