Biography:
She is the Person Responsible and an accredited sub-Specialist Consultant in Infertility and Reproductive Medicine. She studied Medicine at the University of Dundee, then spent periods training in Dundee, including a period of research leading to an MD, and Edinburgh Royal Infirmary/Centre for Reproductive Biology, before coming to Glasgow in 1995. She has been a Consultant at Glasgow Royal Infirmary since 1999, has published widely in the field holding several research grants. Helen was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2007.

Biography:
She is the Nurse Manager of the Assisted Conception Service. She graduated from Caledonian University in 1992 with BA Honors in Health and Nursing Studies and worked in a variety of roles in gynaecology including staff nurse, research nurse, ward manager and clinical nurse manager before being appointed to the post of nurse manager in October 2002. She subsequently developed the clinical and service management aspects of the role and has been directly involved in the implementation of novel clinical research findings into practice. Isabel has been responsible for initiating a wide range of nurse led services within the unit, and has personally completed several post graduate qualifications in Infertility, Ultrasound Scanning and Non Medical Prescribing. Her clinical expertise is recognised nationally and she is a regular presenter and chair at national Infertility meetings for nursing and multidisciplinary groups.

Biography:
She is the Administrative Head of the Section of Reproductive and Maternal Medicine at the University of Glasgow and is responsible for the running of the Reproductive Medicine Unit. Mary Ann has had both a clinical and research interest in menstrual problems since the early 1980’s. Her initial work centred around the role of prostaglandins in menstrual problems and then the aetiology and treatment of uterine fibroids. She has been involved in several clinical trials looking at the effects of different treatment modalities on fibroid-associated symptoms that are still ongoing in order to yield much needed long term data. The results of a number of these studies have had considerable impact on clinical practice.
