Services provided include health examinations for child and adult patients, care for terminally ill patients, cervical smears, family planning advice and services including contraceptive services, counselling, smoking and drug addiction cessation assistance, maternity care, minor surgical procedures, sexual healthcare, administration of child and adult immunizations and the administration of travel vaccinations. This surgery located at the Royal Southampton Hospital in Southampton houses a primary healthcare NHS clinic with a team dedicated to the long term health and wellbeing of patients. Two male and 2 female GPs serve patients at the clinic. Home visits are arranged for housebound patients and those who are too ill to come to the clinic. Services provided include general medical examinations for patients of all ages under the NHS, the administration of childhood and adult immunizations and travel vaccinations, Long Acting Reversible Contraception assistance, chronic disease management and treatments for minor illnesses.
