Christian J. Thaler
Was appointed in 1998 to the University Professor at the University Hospital of the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich, where he heads the special departments of gynecological endocrinology, family planning and reproductive health. Prior to his current position, he was at home and abroad to renowned hospitals and institutions - including the Center for Reproduction and Transplantation Immunology, Indianapolis, USA, at the Center for Assisted Reproduction, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, at the Medical School of Aberdeen, UK and the Department of Gynecological Endocrinology, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. Professor Thaler is president of the German Society for Reproductive Medicine (DGRM), the oldest and largest scientific society in Germany to study diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in children unerflltem request. He is a board Mitgliede the German Menopause Society (DMG), was over several years Vice President of the American Society of Reproductive Immunology and is a member of numerous national and international scientific societies. Professor Thaler features on the Ermchtigung to training for the focus Gynecologic Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine, and he is prfer the Bavarian Landesrztekammer for this area. His clinical and research focus is in the areas of Ovarian function and the effects of trace elements and vitamins, Mechanisms of embryonic implantation in the uterus (implantation) and the hormonal and immunological processes during early pregnancy. He is the author and coauthor of numerous books and book chapters and a large number of scientific publications.
