UNICA Clinic - Prague

He was born in Třinec and graduated from the First Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague in 2002. In 2009, he obtained board certification in Gynecology and Obstetrics, followed by certification in Reproductive Medicine in 2019.

He began his clinical career at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and the General University Hospital in Prague. Since 2014, he has been fully dedicated to assisted reproduction.

In his work, he places strong emphasis on an individual and personalized approach to each couple. He believes that successful fertility treatment is not only about choosing the right protocol, but also about trust, communication, and understanding each patient’s unique life situation.

He specializes in comprehensive care for couples undergoing IVF treatment, including patients with recurrent implantation failure, advanced maternal age, or a complicated reproductive history.

He regularly participates in both Czech and international professional congresses and educational events. He is a member of the Assisted Reproduction Section of the Czech Gynecological and Obstetrical Society of the Czech Medical Association J. E. Purkyně.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family. His passions include mountains and climbing.

MUDr. Ondřej Bačík has extensive experience in the field of gynecology and obstetrics. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno, earning his degree in 2016. During his studies, he already knew that he wanted to specialize in human reproduction. He began his career at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Thomayer University Hospital in Prague and later completed internships at prestigious clinics, including the General University Hospital in Prague and the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady.

In 2022, he obtained his board certification in Gynecology and Obstetrics and is now fully dedicated to IVF treatment. He continually updates and expands his expertise by attending numerous international conferences and professional seminars, successfully applying the latest knowledge in his clinical practice to the benefit of many satisfied patients.

He is a member of the Section of Assisted Reproduction of the Czech Gynecological and Obstetrical Society (ČGPS) of the Czech Medical Association (ČLS). He speaks fluent English.

MUDr. Jekatěrina Boháčková Kraf graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen, Charles University in Prague, in 2014. After completing her studies, she began working at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the Bulovka University Hospital, where she gained extensive experience across the entire field, both in gynecology and obstetrics. Since 2016, she has also been practicing privately at a private gynecological clinic. In 2020, she successfully passed the certification exam and obtained full specialization in gynecology and obstetrics. Currently, she primarily specializes in assisted reproduction (IVF), providing patients with top-notch care. MUDr. Boháčková Kraf is fluent in Russian and English and also has passive knowledge of German.

MUDr. Tomáš Koukal graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno. After completing his studies, he joined the 1st Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University Hospital Brno, where he finished his postgraduate training by successfully passing the first-level board certification in gynecology and obstetrics and continued gaining further experience at the clinic. He is a member of the Czech Gynecological and Obstetrical Society – Assisted Reproduction Section, and actively participates in professional conferences both in the Czech Republic and abroad. In caring for patients with infertility, his priority is to ensure that each couple is fully informed, receives answers to all their questions, and is provided with the highest possible standard of medical care. He has been a member of the Unica clinic’s medical team in Brno since 2025.

Since elementary school, Dr Mackula has dreamed of becoming a doctor. After successfully studying at the Faculty of Medicine, she began her career as a gynaecologist. Since 1999, she has devoted herself to gynaecology and obstetrics in her native Ukraine, where she continued her education in cervical pathology and colposcopy specialization. She has worked in the Czech Republic since 2010, successfully passing the approval exams and the European certification. She worked as a gynaecologist and obstetrician at the Brno General Hospital and has been working in reproductive medicine since 2018. She is the mother of two daughters and is proud of the fact that, in addition to the two of them, she has helped bring thousands more children into the world.
