Biography:
He is Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Montreal. He is an associate clinical professor and winner of the Van Campenhout award for the quality of his teaching.?Graduating in medicine from the University of Montreal in 1980, he completed his specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology and obtained certification of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 1985. Later, he continued his training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Louisville, Kentucky.? He was President of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) in 2009 and is responsible for the Canadian Assisted Reproductive Technologies Registry for in vitro fertilization activities (CARTR).Author and co-author of several publications, he supervises many research projects and directs doctoral students. Dr. Bissonnette is a member of several Professional associations. He is currently president of the Quebec Society of Fertlity and Andrology and the Quebec Association of Fertologues. He is one of the five founding members of the clinique ovo in 2003. He is also medical Director of ovo fertility.

She graduated in 2008 from the nursing program of the CEGEP Limoilou in Quebec City. She began her career at the St-Francois d`Assise hospital in the Post-partum/nursery department where she worked for two years. She continued her career for a further two years in the Department of Neonatalogy (intermediate and intensive care) of the CHUL in Quebec City. In 2011, she came to settle in Montreal and started to work at clinique ovo. In 2012, she was promoted to the position of Director of Nursing.

He graduated in 1992 from the University of Plymouth in England. He completed his training at the Hallam Medical Center, London, in the laboratory of Professor Robert Edwards. Following training on all aspects of clinical embryology, he obtained the necessary licence to practice intracytoplasmic sperm injections in the UK. Then in 2008 he obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Embryology at the University of Leeds. He is certified by the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society as an Embryology Laboratory Director.?He agreed to continue his career in MontreaI in 1997 as senior embryologist at the McGill Reproductive Center. His wide experience in the field of embryology includes in vitro maturation, ovarian cryopreservation and embryo biopsy.? He is a member of the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society (CFAS) and ALPHA Scientists in Reproductive Medicine. He was a member of the CFAS ART Lab SIG Professional Standards, the sub-committee responsible for the creation of Canadian national standards for ART laboratory professionals in the field of medically assisted procreation. He is currently a member of the Executive Committee for the Research Centre in Animal Reproduction at the University of Montreal and is a member of the teaching faculty for the Fellowship programme in Reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He is part of the team of specialists as chief embryologist and director of the ovo clinical laboratories as well as the Scientific and Operations director of ovo cryo.
