Dr Anthony Cheung

Biography:
Reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist and the founder and medical director of Grace Fertility and Reproductive Medicine, also known as the Grace Fertility Centre. He received his medical degree from the University of Sydney, Australia and is a fellow of both the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and has been conferred founder designation by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in the subspecialty of Gynaecological Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (GREI). After completing subspecialty training in Menopause in the Centre for the Management of Menopause in Sydney, Australia and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) at the University of California, Davis, he became a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Alberta (1992-1996) before joining UBC in 1996. He was the medical director of the former UBC IVF Program from 2000-2008. - See more at:

Dr Victor Chow

Biography:
Originally from Toronto and settled in Vancouver in 1993. His medical degree was obtained from Queen's University in 1993. After a rotating internship year at Lions Gate Hospital with UBC, he completed a research year and entered the Urology program at UBC, obtaining his fellowship (FRCSC) in 1999. Further sub-specialty training in the field of andrology and male infertility was performed at the University of Toronto (Mount Sinai Hospital) in 2000. Dr. Chow's main urological practice is based out of North Vancouver at the Lions Gate Hospital. In addition, he is active in the University of British Columbia in the Department of Urologic Sciences where he holds the appointment of Clinical Associate Professor. - See more at:

Dr Alana Shaw

Biography:
Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University before completing the 4-year naturopathic program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She went on to perform clinical training in mind/body medicine through Harvard Medical School before beginning her Master’s degree at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2010. It was at UBC, where she conducted research in the field of reproductive endocrinology, infertility, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). She continues to stay active in the academic community as a clinical supervisor and women’s health instructor at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, and through research conducted at the Grace Centre. She has her pharmaceutical prescribing license and is also part of a small group of NDs becoming certified with advanced naturopathic training in obstetrics, pediatrics, and gynecology. This is part of a long-term initiative to graduate Canada’s first naturopathic midwives. - See more at:
