Lovely little clinic in Manchester :) Found them on twitter and decided to go ahead and book myself in for some hair removal. Found it no problem (walked from Deansgate, was about 15 mins, which was a lovely walk along the canals) receptionist was very nice to me and made me a drink, offered me biscuits, etc..

Treatment itself was fine, no issues at all and the staff were lovely with me! Price wasn't expensive and I was then offered discounts as I was a new customer :) All in all it was a great experience and I'll 100% be going back in the future

Eye Care

Cataract Surgery

A cataract is a condition of the eye that makes it difficult to see. The lens, the part of the eye that we use to focus, becomes clouded. The eye is like a camera with a lens system at the front and a photosensitive area at the back. The normal function of the lens is to focus light so that you can see sharp clear images. If the lens of the eye becomes cloudy, it restricts the amount of light that is able to enter the eye, reducing the eyesight. A cataract usually develops gradually, eventually making it difficult to carry out your daily activities. If the cataract is not removed, your vision usually becomes worse over time. One or both eyes can be affected, but a cataract cannot spread from one eye to the other.

Glaucoma Treatment

Glaucoma is a disease in which the optic nerve is damaged, leading to progressive, irreversible loss of vision. It is often, but not always, associated with increased pressure of the fluid in the eye. The nerve damage involves loss of retinal ganglion cells in a characteristic pattern.

One person may develop nerve damage at a relatively low pressure, while another person may have high eye pressure for years and yet never develop damage. Untreated glaucoma leads to permanent damage of the optic nerve and resultant visual field loss, which can progress to blindness.

This method of sight correction is similar to LASIK, but the laser treatment is applied to the surface of the cornea rather than inside.
