EYE CLINIC IN DAMAI SERVICE HOSPITAL (HQ) 

Damai Service Hospital (HQ)'s eye clinic was established since 2005. We provide consultation and treatment after office hours from Monday to Friday and Saturday to cater for working adults. The cost for eye treatment in our premises is far more affordable compare to most of the tertiary healthcare providers. 

Both of ophthalmologists are specialists trained from public service with extensive experience in clinical and in surgical. Dr. Lakana Kumar is one of the few ophthalmologists who is specialise in neuro-ophthalmology. 

With the help of head of department in Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Dr. Kumar and his team initiated the first Neuro-Ophthalmology Clinic in public hospital in May 2015. In Oct 2015, Visual Rehabilitation Clinic in Rehabilitation Centre Hospital Cheras was established as well. As of now, Dr. Kumar is the head of these two units.  

Dr. Gan Eng Hui obtained his postgraduate medical degree in 2003 from University Putra Malaysia. In 2011, Dr. Gan achieved his Master of Medicine in Ophthalmology in University Science Malaysia. He is also a certified Medical Impairment of Assessor of National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of Malaysia. 

Dr. Gan has several international publication in Journal of Ophthalmology where he published his study and clinical findings in the field of ophthalmology. Being exposed to intensive workshops in Ophthalmology, Dr. Gan is equipped with high level of skills and knowledge in treating patients with various type of eye problems.

Dr. Kumar obtained his medical degree in Medicine and Surgery from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Karnataka India. 

Dr. Kumar received post specialist training in Neuro Ophthalmology in Singapore National Eye Centre where his special interest is in Pediatric Neuro-Ophthalmology. He is one of the few Ophthalmologists in Malaysia who possesses such specialities in pediatrics' ophthalmology neurotic  skills and knowledge. With the help of head of department in Hospital Kuala Lumpur, he and his team initiated the first Neuro-Ophthalmology Clinic in public hospital in May 2015. In Oct 2015, Visual Rehabilitation Clinic in Rehabilitation Centre Hospital Cheras was established as well. As of now, Dr. Kumar is the head of these two units.  

Dr. Kumar is also actively involve in research and publication of his clinical studies in both general ophthalmology and neuro-ophthalmology arena. Dr. Kumar's vision is to expand these services to a wider platform in Malaysia's healthcare.
