Dr. Petr Novák is a leading ophthalmologist with over two decades of experience in cataract and refractive surgery. A graduate of the 1st Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague, he holds both 1st and 2nd-degree certifications in ophthalmology and is licensed by the Czech Medical Chamber.

Dr. Novák has trained at top ophthalmic institutions across Europe and the United States, including fellowships in Mannheim and Boston. He has actively participated in prestigious international congresses in the USA, Germany, Belgium, and Portugal, where he has lectured on advancements in laser vision correction.

Dr. Sylva Procházková, Ph.D., is a highly experienced ophthalmologist with a strong international and academic background in eye microsurgery and anterior segment procedures. She graduated from the 3rd Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague in 1990 and began her career at the Department of Ophthalmology in Jindřichův Hradec.

In 1994, she joined the University Hospital Královské Vinohrady in Prague, where she spent 13 years honing her expertise, eventually serving as Head of the Refractive Surgery Centre and senior consultant for surgical wards. She completed both her postgraduate diplomas (I. and II. degree) in ophthalmology by 1999.

Dr. Procházková specialises in cataract surgery, corneal transplantation, and laser vision correction techniques, including LASIK, which she has been performing since 1997 with over 4,000 procedures to date. She has also carried out more than 9,000 cataract surgeries. Her areas of interest include eye ultrasound diagnostics and surgical techniques for anterior segment disorders.

She has trained internationally, including a fellowship at the Eye Clinic of Humboldt University in Berlin, and actively contributes to global ophthalmology conferences. Her scientific contributions include numerous publications on refractive and anterior segment surgery and ocular imaging.

Dr. Procházková is a member of several leading professional societies, including the Czech Society of Ophthalmology, the Czech and European Societies of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
