Biography:
In 1986 he graduated from the "Carlos Pellegrini" Business School, part of the University of Buenos Aires. In 1989 he joined the School of Anatomy assistants in the Faculty of Medicine, guest. In 1992 he obtained his medical degree at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Buenos Aires, with an average of 8.96 points and diploma of honor. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at the Hospital de Clinicas "José de San Martín", part of the University of Buenos Aires, coming to get the Head of Residence. In the same Hospital did a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. He completed teaching career at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Buenos Aires, serving as Adjunct Professor in Ophthalmology and as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Anatomy at the same Faculty. His current practice is dedicated to refractive lens surgery and cataract intraocular lenses and glaucoma surgery. He is an Associate of the Institute of Vision of Buenos Aires director. He developed about 70 research papers, case presentations and scientific video problems, many of them published in national and international journals, having received several awards. In conferences within and outside the country, often participates as a speaker and lecturer in more than 300 occasions. He has served as coordinator or director in more than 50 courses. He has performed cataract and glaucoma televised live during various national and international conferences. On several occasions he was sworn in evaluating scientific presentations from various conferences. He has published several chapters in books, both undergraduate and graduate. He is a reviewer for several journals publishing scientific papers on ophthalmology, among which is the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, published jointly by ASCRS (acronym for the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery) and ESCRS (acronym English European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery). He was editor of the Bulletin ALCRS (Latin American Association of Cataract, Refractive and Anterior Segment). He is co-editor of Noticiero ALACCSA-R (American Association of Surgeons of Cornea, Anterior Segment and Refractive). He is an active member of national and international ophthalmological societies. He is currently Secretary General of Argentina Society of Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery (SACRyC) and board member of the Argentine Council of Ophthalmology.

He finished high school with an average of 9.85 points and gold. He then earned her medical degree at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Buenos Aires (UBA), with more than 9 points and honorary diploma average. He completed his residency in ophthalmology and has subspecialty in Cornea and Refractive Surgery, conducting a clinical-surgical fellowship at the Hospital de Clinicas, where he currently serves as Professor ascribed to the University of Buenos Aires. It has developed more than 150 research papers, videos and photos and collaborations in scientific books. Many of these works have been awarded in the country and abroad. Regularly participates as a speaker, coordinator and director at conferences developed in the country and abroad. Is Past-President of Argentina Society of Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery (SACRyC) and Board Director of the Latin American Association of Surgeons of Anterior Segment (ALACCSA-R). He is co-editor of Science News ALACCSA-R, widely disseminated among Spanish-speaking colleagues. He is a member reviewer of scientific journals of national and international medical consultation. He is also a successful contributor to such magazines with articles and scientific papers. It is dedicated to clinico-surgical, health care program for teaching and scientific research.
