My husband went for earwax removal (elsewhere) and came out deaf. Apparently not common but can happen and can be temporary or permanent.

We went to a few specialists none of whom helped so I remembered John Lloyd who had helped me in the past. We made an appointment and John was very knowledgeable and thorough. It was a great meeting and we really feel that John has helped us. We have two new hearing aids on the way and are hopeful these will really help.

Having been quoted £140 for the cleaning of just one ear by another local company, we were delighted to discover Crystal Hearing in Horsham who clear BOTH ears of wax for half that price - £70. Today's visit was excellent: prompt, caring and totally pain-free treatment from John, and months of hearing problems disappeared in minutes. No parking problems, and unexpected added bonus was my wife able to enjoy a 'two for the price of one' offer, and have both her own ears tended to immediately after myself - all for that same initial £70. The result was two extremely happy (and hearing!) customers.

Added treat was a brilliant coffee and the finest bacon butties from a cafe virtually next door. Not the easiest place to find, hidden in the leafy grounds of a former historic country estate just off the A24, now an upmarket and bustling industrial estate, but we can't recommed it highly enough.

We have used Crystal Hearing for several years now for their ear wax removal service. We have found them to be both friendly and professional.

Excellent screening for me. 72 years old thought my hearing had changed. Booked in to exclude wax blockage. No wax a short hearing test revealed it was age related. Excellent consultation with good diagrams, equipment . Now understanding my options and considering possible hearing aids at some point.

I booked an appointment at 10 am on Friday 18th June. I found Peter to be excellent in his treatment of my ear wax problem and left with my hearing restored and happy with the fee for treatment.

I had the microsuction to remove blocked wax in my ears. The treatment was very quick and the procedure didn't hurt .I would certainly recommend this clinic.I left the clinic feeling elated.

I called the clinic on a Monday evening after visiting my Gp and John managed to fit me in the following day. My GP wait was a week. John was very friendly and welcoming. The clinic is very light and airy ,clean and inviting with certificates displayed on the walls.

Gentleman called back when he said he would, and text through very good detailed directions and appointment details. My husband arrived early at the clinic and was taken early for his appointment which was great.

My husband was travelling down England on the weekend and we needed a convenient and speedy appointment somewhere that fitted in with his rout. His visit to this clinic was very Good quick efficient.

I contacted Crystal Hearing about getting a smaller aid as I was conscious of the large NHS one I already had, it wasn't particularly comfy on my ear plus I was conscious of wearing it as they are far from discreet! John at Crystal was fantastic and completed an assessment and test. He then talked through all the options available and the advantages/disadvantages of the different aids and what may be most suitable to me. We looked at the different options and John showed me how they would fit and look, although John's hearing is fine he had some made up to fit his own ear to show how they truly are. This really helped me to make the decision to go for the smallest aid, the phonak virto Q50, for both ears. Hearing aids are an investment and it is important that an informed decision is made - I certainly felt I had this and so wish I had made this decision 18 months earlier!! Whilst they are an investment it is one of the best things I have spent money on!! The aids I have sit right in the ear and are hardly visible. John ensured that the casing that sits in the ear was the right shade (so that it looks like a shadow and even less visible) and also that the pull cord was long enough to be functional yet short enough to still be discreet. The aids are perfect for me, they address my concern about discretion and most people don't know I have them. I would certainly recommend both the aids and John at Crystal Hearing to others.

I came across Crystal Hearing online when looking at alternative options to my NHS aid. The website was informative and I contacted them. They arranged for someone near my location to call me, that person was John. As mentioned above, John was really helpful and provided lots of guidance and advice, all somehow without swamping me with information and making me feel uncertain about what to do. The appointments were scheduled as home visits, great for convenience, and were quickly scheduled. Definitely recommend John and couldn't be happier with my aids and absolutely have no regrets - other than I wish I had contacted Crystal Hearing 18 months earlier!!
