Private patients and patients on the NHS are welcomed at this dental clinic located at Sherwood in Nottingham. The team focuses on preventive dentistry to keep the teeth and mouth of patients healthy for a lifetime. The team endeavours to create an environment where patients enjoy a pleasant and positive experience during visits. Services provided at the clinic include examinations and oral hygiene services, NHS care, general dental care, the cosmetic improvement of smiles and the reconstruction of missing teeth by crown and bridge work dentures or surgical dental implant placements.
Originally from the Leeds area – I studied dentistry at Edinburgh University, qualifying in 1991. I then completed a further year training in general dental practice after which I continued to work as an associate for the next three years. During this time I gained valuable experience in all aspects of general dentistry both within the NHS and private sector, with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry.
I left this post to open my own dental practice in West Lothian providing dental care to the local community for the next five years.
To be closer to family, I relocated to Nottingham in 2001 and joined the Nottingham Oral Health Centre and have been here ever since.
I am originally from South London and qualified in dentistry from King’s College London in 1997.
I moved to Loughborough for my year of vocational dental training where I met my husband. We liked the area so a few years later my husband and I moved to Nottingham and have been here ever since. I have been an associate dentist at the Nottingham Oral Health Centre now for over 10 years. In that time I have seen some of my patients grow up and bring in children of their own. I love that continuity and I think patients like the stability of seeing the same dentist over the years.
