I practised for 14 years in Bromley, Kent but missed the sea, so I joined David Pearson in 1994. I am a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and have a diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology. Job Title:
  General Practitioner
Biography:
"I qualified from University College Hospital Medical School, London in 1977, having also completed an intercalated BSc. in Pharmacology, and moved to Portsmouth in 1978 to undergo a three year hospital and GP rotation for General Practice. I joined Dr. John Langmaid in the practice on the corner of Festing Road in 1982 and we moved to the new building in Salisbury Road in 1985. I enjoy the variety of work that General Practice offers as well as the development of relationships with patients and families over a period of time. My particular interests lie in the region of cardiovascular medicine, diabetes and elderly care. I completed an MSc in 2005 which included research into spiritual needs in primary care. Outside the practice I have 3 children and my wife is a local Health Visitor. Our Christian Faith has always been important and we are actively involved with a local Anglican church. In leisure time I enjoy natural history & sailing."
