Miss Dorothea Macleod

Job Title:

Dorothea (Thea) Macleod qualified as a State registered Chiropodist/Podiatristin 1995 and is registered with the Health Professions Council. She gainedexperience working for the NHS in Cambridgeand Huntingdon before establishing her multi-disciplinary practise in Brooklands Avenuethe following year. The practice grew steadily and by 2003 had outgrown itspremises so, under the guidance of Stella Archer, (Thea’s osteopath colleagueand now business partner) the move was made to the Coach House Clinic.

Thea provides a full range of treatments from basic footcare (corns, callus, verrucae and difficult toe nails) to care of the diabeticfoot, nail surgery under local anaesthetic, paediatric foot problems andbiomechanics/sports injury management. She keeps up to date by attendingregular study days and is developing an interest in the new area of ForensicPodiatry.

All initial consultations are for 30 minutes and during thattime most problems can be addressed. Nail surgery and biomechanical assessmentsneed longer appointments so it’s a good idea to phone the clinic for guidancebefore a booking is made.
