Newcastle Clinic is a GP clinic located at Orchard Road. Centre for Screening and Surgery (CSS) specialises in screening and detection of cancer in its early stages. When detected early, wecan achieve a cure rate of 90% or more for most cancers. For breast screening, we have high resolution US machinesand in-house Mammotome biopsy equipment to detect and diagnose cancers withminimum delay. For colon and other gastrointestinal cancers, in addition toblood tests for tumour markers, we perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy todiagnose cancers or to remove polyps. When surgery is needed, we specialise in the minimallyinvasive approach which leads to less pain, shorter recovery and bettercosmetic results. Our doctors are also trained in the latest surgicaltechnologies such as Robotic Surgery, Single Incision Surgery (SILS) and Natural Orifice Surgery (NOTES).
