Don Kelly Physiotherapy and Acupuncture

I went to Don with Shingles after pain. I was on a lot of medication to help ease the pain and discomfort. I tried other methods and therapies and with no success. After Don's treatments I am now pain free and most importantly drug free. I would without a shadow of doubt recommend Don - he's excellent - he really knows his Chinese acupuncture. I feel like I'm back to myself again - all thanks to Don and his needles! Thanks a million Don

I have suffered on and off with lower back pain and back spasms for the past 10 years. Sought to remedy this through various physiotherapy, acupuncture and chiropractic treatments over many years but ultimately felt that I failed to find a solution to the issues I was experiencing - mainly exacerbated when running, playing hurling or exercising (weight lifting etc.)

I was referred to Don through a mentor of my hurling club. Don identified a few contributing factors to my back pain after 1 or 2 sessions. He treated each factor using a mixture of his own methods of physical therapy and acupuncture and also recommended orthotics for me, which I now wear while hurling. His treatments in conjunction with the orthotics and a maintenance stretching programme that he has suggested for me have meant that I have recently been able to play entire competitive games and not feel the same numbing tightness in my lower back during or after games. So far so good. I am pleased with this result especially after only a few treatments, as this was a recurring issue for me for some time. If you are suffering from symptoms similar to my description above I'd recommend contacting Don to see if you can see similar results.

Very positive and professional environment and practitioner. I felt at ease asking questions and outlining the issues I was having with my lower back pain. It was a non-judgemental consultation and Don provided a lot of helpful guidance and key takeaways on top of his treatments.

I attended Don for intense knee and hip pain. I had got to the stage were I required a walking stick to help me get around. After a number of sessions I no longer require the aid of the walking stick. And I am very grateful to Don and would strongly recommend him.

Excellent and very professional . Don listens to what you have to say and advices you on the best treatment. My 1st visit was very welcoming and I was brought into the room were don does the treatment. I was asked some questions and don then went on to advice me on the best treatment. I have never looked back.

Don asked me where I was having pain (shoulder injury), what was I doing - to recall my steps. Then through using acupuncture and his experience - got to work on me.
Explained to me what I had injured, what stretches to start doing and how to mind myself more.
Treatment worked so well.

I had never had that be fore and thought how sticking pins in my shoulder was going to help me walk again and take away the pain. Don reassured me i would be perfect after few sessions and yes I am. Would totally recommend Don and his clinic. So great full.

I couldn't walk when I hobbled into Don's treatment room as was in excruciating pain with my right knee.
After Don treated my knee with dry needles I was able to stand on my leg and walk out of the treatment room unaided.

Don was very friendly with an excellent professional manner. I particularly liked and appreciated his forthrightness and honesty when at the very outset he told me that I would need three treatments and if I wasn't better by then that I was not going to get better by simply have more treatment. Thankfully Don had me sorted by the third treatment.

I attended Don Kelly's clinic on the recommendation of my GP for the treatment of migraines, neck and shoulder. I had been down the road of physiotherapy and another clinic previously to no avail and had been told by an orthopaedic surgeon that I would have to "live with it" so I was sceptical but following just three sessions with Don I was pain free and no longer taking painkillers on an almost daily basis.

Don is an excellent therapist after years of suffering from migraines at least once a month since attending Don 14 months ago I have had 2 episodes. The difference the treatment I received from Don has made to my day to day life is unbelievable. I would highly recommend him to anyone suffering with pain. You don't have to spend your life popping painkillers

I had a dry needling treatment on my wrist due to an injury from racket sport. I had about four visits at €40.00 a visit. Don explained to me about the treatment as I never had this treatment done before. I was a bit nervous about the needles but Don made me feel very relaxed about the whole situation.

I went to this clinic because my sports colleagues had used this clinic in Charleville on many occasions and they all had good results and good experiences. When I went for my first visit I was very pleased with Don's approach and manner. He was very professional and efficient and I would highly recommend him.
