Biography:
Completed his undergraduate medical degree in 2008 at the University of Melbourne. He spent five years working in Western Australia gaining experience within the specialties of Emergency Medicine and Orthopaedics. Andrew completed his Masters of Sports Medicine in 2013 with a focus on concussion management and education, injury prevention through exercise and high altitude medicine. Andrew has a keen interest in many sports including hockey, golf, snow and water skiing, kite surfing, cycling and football.

Graduating in 1976, Dr Peter Baquie worked in a rural general practice in Foster in South Gippsland for 10 years before specialising in sports medicine. He has been privileged to combine Sport and Exercise Medicine consulting with Team Physician roles with a research interest in trying to understand lower limb soft tissue strain healing.
