Named as the best dermatologist in India by Elle Magazine, she is widely renowned as the top skin specialist in Delhi. She is a Columbia University graduate and an M.D specializing in Dermatology. She is additionally American Board Certified with further degrees in Aesthetic Medicine, Cosmetic Lasers and Laser Surgery, and a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Society of Dermatology, American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, European Society of Cosmetic and Aesthetic Dermatology, International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology and IADVL among others. In addition, to these accreditations, Dr. Kiran Lohia has completed a Diploma course in Cosmetic Science through the U.K. Society of Cosmetic Scientists along with a Masters in Dermatology and a Diplomate in Clinical Dermatology. Due to her extensive studies, Dr. Lohia has the distinction of being one of few physicians worldwide with both Cosmetic Formulation and Dermatology degrees, making her a worldwide expert on skin care products and their topical applications.
In addition to her dermatology practice, Dr. Lohia consults worldwide using her specialized understanding of the intersection between cosmetic formulation and dermatology. In India itself she founded and formulated a brand of cosmeceuticals known as COSMEDIC and recently chaired UBM’s 2013 Cosmetic & Science Conference in Mumbai. She was also a lead speaker at the HPC 2014 Skin Chemistry Conference in Dubai and at the Indian Salon & Wellness Congress in 2015. She is additionally a lead trainer and speaker for Galderma fillers in Asia.
