This has been the most disappointing dental experience I have had in my 74 years. Based on my personal experience, I felt that the clinic focused more on recommending additional procedures than addressing my actual concern.
I visited the clinic during a holiday trip to have an almost completely broken crown checked. The crown was already loose and hanging on one side, with no pain, discomfort, bleeding, or other complications. In fact, it could be moved easily with my tongue. I wanted a professional opinion in case further treatment was genuinely required, as I could not see the area myself.
Despite the lack of symptoms, an X-ray and injection were done, and I was advised to undergo a surgical extraction of the remaining tooth. I initially agreed and paid for the procedure, but later decided not to proceed with the extraction. Nearly 20 days have passed since then, and I have experienced no pain, bleeding, or complications.
I requested a refund for the treatment that was not carried out, but despite multiple attempts, this was refused. Instead, I was repeatedly asked to return to proceed with the extraction.
It is also worth noting that when the broken crown was removed, there was no bleeding or complication at all. Based on my experience, I felt pressured into agreeing to treatment that I did not ultimately need. I was disappointed by the refusal to refund an unused procedure.
