Biography:
Dr. Ference has been practicing in the capital region since 1990. He studied chemistry as an undergraduate at Binghamton University, and completed his dental training at the Stonybrook University School of Dental Medicine in 1984. Dr. Ference completed specialty training in periodontics at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he was awarded an NIH research training grant. During this time, he also completed a master’s degree in immunology. Following his specialty training, Dr. Ference had clinical and research responsibilities at the New York University College of Dentistry, where he was appointed Director of Undergraduate Periodontics. He served in this capacity for several years before relocating to Albany to practice periodontics and implant dentistry.
