Dr George M. Yellich

Biography:
Dr. George Yellich graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1968 and obtained his DDS from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1972. After serving two years as a general dentist in the US Navy, he entered the University of Michigan Medical School. He received a master’s degree and his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery certificate in 1977, where he then was an instructor. His research work with the Center of Human Growth earned him an Award of Special Merit from the American Association of Orthodontic Research. Dr. Yellich is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, for which he served as past president for the Northern California Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Yellich currently practices in Santa Cruz and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

Dr Brian Cheng

Biography:
Dr. Brian Cheng completed his undergraduate studies from the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar. He then attended New York University College of Dentistry on a Full Tuition Merit scholarship and obtained his DDS degree. Among other honors Dr. Cheng was nominated to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society in 1998. He then attended UCLA for his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 1998 to 2004 culminating in a certificate for his specialty. As part of this program, Dr. Cheng also attended the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA obtaining the MD degree and completed one year of General Surgery internship. He was active in both basic and clinical science research throughout his training. In year 2004 Dr. Cheng completed an implant surgery fellowship at the UCLA Straumann implant center with Dr. Peter Moy, a world-renowned surgeon at the frontier of implant dentistry.

Dr Touraj Khalilzadeh

Biography:
Dr. Touraj Khalilzadeh completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California in Irvine, California, and obtained his dental degree from the Ivy League institution, The University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine in 2006. T.J. attended the University of Maryland where he earned his medical degree and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the prestigious R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center and lectured in Clinical Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery on ”Principals of Physical Diagnosis” at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery in Maryland, department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. T.J. also served as the Professor’s Assistant in General Restorative Dentistry at the school of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania from 2004-2005.
