Clove House Dental Care

I graduated in 1996 and opened my first practice later that year. I also concentrated my time in further postgraduate studies with my main focus on dental implants. I have completed studies in this field in the world-renowned University of Gothenburg, Branemark Clinic in Sweden as well as prestigious universities in Bern, Switzerland, Tubingen and Frankfurt in Germany. I have attended the Diploma in Implant Dentistry at The Royal College of Surgeons (Eng). I have placed and restored well over 2500 implants and I am experienced in advanced implant techniques, such as bone grafting and sinus lift if needed. Over the past 7 years I have been receiving referrals from several practices across the south west of England.

Previously I worked in the hospital in Trieste and private practices in Italy. In 2007 I took the decision to relocated to Bath where I’ve have settled with my family. I strongly believes in 21st century dentistry offering all aspects of general dentistry, both private and NHS. I have an interest in endodontics and I am committed to furthering my knowledge and skills therefore I regularly course and training to up date my continuing professional development. This reflects my wish to deliver a high standard of care to all patients and ensure they are treated in a professional and welcoming way.

Alan qualified from the University of Wales, Cardiff in 2012. He has worked in general practice in South Wales and also as a Maxillofacial Senior House officer in the Royal Gwent hospital. He moved to Bath in 2015 when he joined Clove House Dental Care. Although interested in all aspects of dentistry, Alan has a real passion for aesthetic dentistry and complex restorative treatments. His main focus is always to promote the long-term wellbeing of his patients and he carefully provides evidence based treatment plans, which are tailored to the specific needs of his patients. Alan is a perfectionist by nature and has great enthusiasm and a clear understanding of all technical aspects of dentistry, allowing him to achieve the best results in his work.
