Dr Sulaman Anwar is a UK-registered Specialist Periodontist with advanced expertise in periodontal surgery, implant dentistry and the management of complex gum conditions.
He qualified from King’s College London (Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals) in 2011 before pursuing an extensive postgraduate surgical career. He completed a four-year full-time Specialist Training Programme in Periodontology and Implant Surgery at King’s College London, earning a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology and a Masters of Periodontology and Restorative Dentistry. Following rigorous examination, he achieved Specialist Membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr Anwar previously held the position of Specialty Registrar in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at Guy’s Hospital and worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine. He has also served as in-house dentist at the University of Cambridge.
He holds a Diploma in Sedation from Guy’s Hospital and has a special interest in managing anxious patients, providing calm, controlled and patient-centred surgical care.

Professional RecognitionDr Anwar is an active member of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh, British Society of Periodontology, European Federation of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology and International Academy of Periodontology.
He was elected Dental Ambassador for the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh (London region) and sits on the interview panel for the undergraduate dental programme at King’s College London.
