This patient’s course of treatment falls into Band 1 and they pay £17.00 EXAMPLE 2 A patient requires an examination, an x-rayand a simple filling. This patient’s course of treatment falls into band 2 andthey pay £47.00. If the patient required more than 1 filling on a course oftreatment they would still only pay £47.00 EXAMPLE 3 A patient requires an examination, an x-rayand a crown or denture. This patient’s course of treatment falls into Band 3and they pay £204.00. Patients are able to mix treatment optionsand have NHS and private work under the same course of treatmen
