The Denture Studios

Kevin started as an apprentice Dental Technician at The Ultimate Dental Laboratory Ltd in 1995 and studied at Manchester university For 5 years passing with a distinction. Eager to continue his studies and to make a difference to denture wearers he undertook the denturist course and studied with the George brown college for 3 years which he passed with honors and then a further year with the faculty of general dental practice, before qualifying as a Clinical Dental Technician with the Royal College of surgeons in England, Kevin also holds a certificate in oral health education and dental radiography.

Ian begin his Dental career when The Ultimate Dental Laboratory Ltd first opened in 1985. He attended Millbrook College in Liverpool where is gained his BTEC qualification in Dental Technology. Following Ian’s enthusiasm for Prosthetics, he quickly worked his way up the career ladder and now is a Technical Director of The Ultimate Dental Laboratory Ltd. Whilst running a successful Dental Laboratory, Ian often would be asked to assist clients in cases where his technical knowledge & experience could improve patients dentures both functionally and aesthetically. Through dealing with patients directly, Ian knew he could offer a service which can change the lives of denture wearers as he could overcome the problems which can be faced with dentures leaving patients confident. With his colleague Kevin Armstrong, he undertook the 3 year Denturist course as George Brown College and passed with an Honors Degree before qualifying as a Clinical Dental Technician at The Royal College of Surgeons in England. Ian has also taken part in the first year Post Graduate Implant course at UCLAN in Preston to enhance his knowledge & experience. Alongside Directing & training Technician’s at the Dental Laboratory Ian attends our 3 Denture Studios to see patients directly and offers a professional and friendly service to all patients.

After starting an Apprenticeship in 1977, I spent many years in Orthodontics working in South Manchester where I live. Since 1989 I have been involved in all aspects of denture work and an interest in Denturism gave me the opportunity to become involved with the campaign to promote Clinical Dental Technology. After qualification I joined the team at The Denture Studios in 2007 and have enjoyed working since.
