Dr Pieter – Principal DentistCalm and Gentle Dental Care
Pieter qualified from the University of Pretoria in 1999. Shortly after, he moved to England and gained valuable experience at a busy practice in Tunbridge Wells before joining Hanover House in 2004, where he has been ever since.
Passionate about preventive dentistry, Pieter believes strongly in helping patients maintain healthy smiles for life through gentle, proactive care. He also has a special interest in painless dental implants and cosmetic dentistry, combining advanced techniques with a calm, patient-centred approach to create beautiful, natural-looking results with minimal discomfort.
With over 25 years of experience, Pieter is known for his caring manner and clinical excellence, making even the most nervous patients feel at ease.
Shalin is a highly experienced and caring Dental Therapist at Calm and Gentle Dental Care.
With a gentle and reassuring approach, Shalin loves helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles through preventive care, professional hygiene treatments, and patient education. He takes time to explain everything clearly and works at a pace that makes even the most anxious patients feel comfortable and confident.
Shalin is passionate about preventive dentistry and enjoys working with patients of all ages — from children to adults — to build positive dental experiences and long-term oral health.
He brings a calm, kind manner and great attention to detail to every appointment, making him a favourite with many of our patients.
