Now that I have time... the Practice building is a converted corner residential property in central Eastleigh that is easy to walk to if you’re a local resident or using Eastleigh’s parking. The interior and its layout encourages a sense of confidence that the whole Practice has operational hygiene at its forefront.
Well presented, and unhurried, clinical staff are willing to engage with queries about oral management away from the Dentist’s chair. Certainly, I’ve found it worth starting that off before reaching the couch, and as a result, now I understand a great deal more about my mouth’s interior and how to manage it on a daily basis. As a result, whilst I’m not a perfect patient when it comes to compliance, I’m definitely better informed and I know how to “up my game” to cope with the consequences of limited oral space and an imperfect line up of teeth!
Like a great many other people, I’m somewhat circumspect about the profession’s fees and its motivation to actively intervene which contrasts with the approach of hospital/primary care (non-dental) to watch and wait. Being in a continuing dialogue with your Dentist/Hygienist contributes to having control of the decision-making, when it becomes necessary.
I would score this 4 1/2, principally because rarely do I score any service at 5. Overall, it’s positive.
