Julian qualified in 1986 from Guy's and St Thomas's Hospital, London and has been practising quality dentistry ever since. Julian reached Masters level at the New York based Rosenthal Institute of Aesthetic Dentistry in 2005 and has gained extensive experience over the years in the art of beautifully functioning smiles. He then became an Aesthetic Advantage Instructor teaching other dentist in this very exciting technique. He has a keen interest in all aspects of cosmetic dentistry including smile makeovers, dental implants and also has a special interest in root canal therapy and surgery. Julian completed a yearlong course and is one of only a handful of dentists that has a particular interest in sports dentistry. He also constructs and promotes the use of "power enhancing" sports guards for athletes and any keen sports people who would like to improve their endurance, strength and flexibility.

Chloe started her dental career as a nurse in Weybridge, Surrey, before moving on to Portsmouth University where she graduated as a Dental Nurse in 2011. She then returned to Portsmouth University in 2013 studying for a BSc Hons degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy.

I have known Julian for 40 years since we trained in Guy’s dental school together and am very pleased and excited to be joining him and the team at New Street Dental Care. 

After qualifying in 1985 and a couple of years in hospital dentistry gaining Maxillo-Facial experience, I have been in private general practice ever since with breaks to have my family, two boys and a girl, all now grown up!!

In 2018, I  gained a diploma in Forensic Human Identification which along with Forensic Odontology, is a field which I am very interested in and more recently I have gained a Diploma in Prosthodontics with Professor Paul Tipton at Tipton Training, continuing to increase my knowledge in current advancements in dentistry. 

I enjoy all aspects of dentistry especially making dentures and treating nervous patients. I very much look forward to meeting and caring for the patients of the practice.
