Repair of a broken front tooth - repeat work following similar repair three years previously. First class work was undertaken by Mr. Wilson - excellent match to surrounding tooth enamel. I can smile again with confidence!

Due to an extremely upsetting childhood experience, I now suffer from a phobia of dentists. Such is my fear, that as soon as I enter the room and see the dentist chair, I start crying. The consequence of my phobia is I have only visited random dentists when necessary, and therefore had to experience invasive treatment such as root canal or extraction. As I have aged, I have realised how important it is to find a dentist and keep my teeth! I contacted Castle Park Dental Care online, (after much research to find the right practice with a female dentist). I then ignored their calls. They gently coaxed me into visiting the practice for a cup of coffee and a chat. Special thanks to Gail I decided I should at least have a first appointment, which I did with Ozge. She was amazing, listening to all of my fears through tears and also helped me with monitoring my breathing, (I hold my breath through fear) and helping me with breathing exercises to relax. Today I have been back to visit Ozge, after deciding to have the two required fillings in one session. I opted from the laser treatment, so no injections or aggressive drilling, I was astonished it was pain-free! Throughout the treatment Ozge explained exactly what she was doing, showed me the instruments she was using and continued to monitor my breathing, stopping when I needed a minute. I am now on the road to recovery in terms of my dental health, and equally creating new and positive experiences with a fantastic dentist. Thank you so much Ozge and Katie (Dental Nurse). I cannot highly enough recommend this practice, they really do care. For some this will be a long post, (so you will not have reached the end of it, I am sure). But, for those with a phobia of dentists it will be a short post, as you are looking for the answer, where I can find a dentist who will understand and support me. I have reached that stage in my life where crowns and bridges can not be used, my previous dentist said I couldn't have implants and I went to Simon for a second opinion. He was able to give me implants and replace a crown and sympathetically replace these dental fixtures. He explained all alternatives and the pros and cons associated with each procedure. I am so grateful that I sought another opinion as my mouth has never felt so good.

Michael Goldsmith carried out a root canal on one of my top front teeth in October 2018, following a referral by my usual dentist. After the initial consultation with Michael, who explained everything that was going to happen I was still really dreading the actual procedure. But my worry turned out to be needless. I was in the chair for over 45 minutes whilst Michael and his very efficient assistant worked on my tooth, in which time I felt absolutely nothing. Albeit that I am writing this review belatedly, I must highly recommend Michael in this specialist field of dentistry, for his expertise and for calm reassuring professionalism given to the patient.
