Some patients feel pain or sensitivity after professional dental cleaning but should recover within a day.  Patients may take a week or two to recover from gum surgery. Patients with halitosis caused by smoking will recover a few weeks after ceasing smoking.

I had a hygienist appointment with Sylvia. She was fantastic and explained everything she was doing. She was friendly and makes you feel comfortable. My teeth have never been so clean. I was doubtful about going to see the hygienist but will make it more of a regular routine to attend.

I cannot thank the Cathedral Dental practice enough. I had suffered 6 months of pain in two of my teeth. My local dentist did not want to take the risk of taking these out through concerns of complications. The cathedral practice fitted me in within three days. So very friendly which put me at my ease. Very informative and can honestly say no pain at all. I felt the price was very reasonable too. Lewis was in reception and was so cheerful I asked him to ring me every morning to set me up for the day. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I am a very happy person.

I was extremely nervous but I couldn’t have been in better hands. Shahid Makhani had a very kind, gentle manner and was extremely professional. I can’t believe that I had no pain or discomfort and felt none of the injections or extraction. Dr Makhani made a wonderful bridge for me which is totally natural looking and comfortable. I would especially like to thank Mrs Makhani who could see I was anxious, she was so very kind and reassuring to me before and during my treatment.
