Hello Trish,
We are very sorry to read your comment, but we would like to remind you that your treatment isn’t over yet. Before starting your treatment, we examined the condition of your oral and dental health in detail and gave you comprehensive information about your condition.
As a result of the panoramic x-ray and intraoral examination, we found that you have serious osteoporosis and gingival recession, so we created a special treatment plan for you and started your treatment with your approval.
As the first step of your treatment, we decided to to do a deep cleaning and perform a procedure known as curettage.
The operation was successful, and we placed the straumann implant in your mouth, which is the most well-known upper segment implant in the world, using 2 cc of Straumann bone
graft to increase the bone quality.
We used an advanced surgical method because there was gingiva recession in the anterior region of your mouth. We restored the gingiva using a connective tissue graft by thickening it.
We used the crown of the extracted tooth as temporary coating to aesthetically shape the gingiva.
Since the tissue is still in the healing phase, there may be a slight opening and tenderness in the procedure side. It is very natural.
When you are back for the 2nd stage of the treatment in May, we are going to place the aesthetic crown over the implant.
You’re a precious patient for me. Your happiness is more important to us
During this time, feel free to contact us and our doctors will always take care of you.
Kind Regards
