My amazing journey started when I visited the Esnan office in London for my consultation. Totally helpful and experienced; everything happened very quickly through the clinic in Istanbul, the take care of my accommodation and transfers for all my appointments. Arriving at the clinic for the first time, I must say it is clean and spotless. And again, with a warm welcome and very friendly staff, everything was so smooth and hassle-free. I came to Citydent after a difficult experience with a dentist in Marbella (recommended via WhatClinic) who, three years ago, filed down far too much of my natural teeth and placed veneers/crowns that looked acceptable on the surface but were a functional disaster underneath — uneven transitions against my other teeth, open gaps between molars, and a bite that made proper hygiene nearly impossible. The result was recurring infections and constant frustration trying to floss around restorations that simply didn’t fit. Dr. Asil Gündüz completely turned this around. From the very first consultation, it was clear he was focused on function as much as aesthetics — not just how the teeth would look, but how they would work: how they’d meet, how they’d clean, how they’d hold up over years of actual use. He worked long evenings checking fit and appearance down to the smallest detail, refusing to rush a case that had already been botched once. The result: My teeth are now genuinely beautiful — more natural and better suited to my face than they’ve ever looked, even before the original damage. But more importantly, they are functional. I can floss properly. My gums are healthy. The bite feels right. For the first time in three years, I’m not worried about what’s happening beneath the surface. Dr. Gündüz is a true professional — skilled, meticulous, and also simply a warm, likeable person who clearly cares more about getting things right for the patient than about turning a quick profit. In a market full of clinics promising an instant “Hollywood smile,” he was the safe, honest choice — someone who takes the time to fix what others got wrong, not just make it look fixed. I cannot recommend him and Citydent highly enough — especially to anyone who has been let down by cosmetic dental work elsewhere and needs it done properly this time.

The surgeons were great, and the clinic staff and English translator were friendly and very helpful. After my X-rays and consultation with the surgeons, the treatment advisor explained the treatment plan. However, he kept speaking over me and cutting me off when I asked questions, which made the consultation frustrating. The communication from the advisors could also be improved. Simple requests such as an updated treatment plan and a clear invoice should be dealt with more easily instead of being passed to someone else or being told, “I will send it tomorrow.” Overall the treatment and clinic staff were great. The main area that could be improved is the communication and customer service from the advisors.

I was in Istanbul on a business trip. Due to a sudden and severe toothache, I went to Dr. Fikret. I didn’t choose him based on a recommendation; it was a completely random decision, and I’m really glad I did. He quickly found a solution and relieved my pain with a root canal treatment. He is extremely friendly, sincere, and natural in his approach. He also helped ease my long-standing fear of dental treatment, at least to some extent. Playing music and chatting during the procedure made me feel much more comfortable. Many thanks to him.
