The results have been life-changing

5 50 All-on-6 Dental Implants

I travelled from Ireland to Esnan Dental Hospital after experiencing gum pain and facial numbness for almost a year.

I had previously received six dental implants and a prosthesis at another clinic, but the discomfort continued and affected my daily life. I was very anxious about having further treatment, but from my first consultation the team at Esnan listened carefully, carried out a thorough examination, and clearly explained what was causing my problems and how they could help.

After completing my treatment, I received a 24-unit implant-supported monolithic zirconia restoration. The results have been life-changing. My pain has gone, the numbness has significantly improved, and I can finally eat, smile, and enjoy everyday life again without the constant discomfort I had been living with.

I was especially impressed by the professionalism of both the surgical and prosthodontic teams, their clear communication throughout the entire process, and the excellent care and support they provided as an international patient travelling from Ireland.

After such a difficult experience elsewhere, I am incredibly grateful to everyone at Esnan Dental Hospital. They gave me back my comfort, confidence, and quality of life. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for experienced, caring, and professional dental specialists.

Marryland Bridge

Marryland Bridge - Esnan Dental Clinics

At Esnan Dental Clinics, a resin-bonded Maryland bridge is offered as a conservative fixed solution for replacing a single missing tooth, particularly in the front region of the mouth.

The restoration consists of a natural-looking replacement tooth supported by one or two thin retaining wings that are securely bonded to the back surfaces of the neighbouring teeth. Compared with a conventional dental bridge, a Maryland bridge usually requires minimal preparation of the supporting teeth, helping preserve healthy tooth structure.

A Maryland bridge may be suitable for patients who:

• Have one missing tooth

• Have healthy neighbouring teeth with sufficient enamel

• Prefer a fixed alternative to a removable partial denture

• Are not suitable for, or do not currently wish to receive, a dental implant

• Require a conservative aesthetic restoration

Each treatment begins with a clinical examination and assessment of the missing-tooth space, bite, gum health, neighbouring teeth, and aesthetic requirements.

The Esnan Digital workflow may include:

• Intraoral digital scanning

• Tooth-shade selection

• Digital bridge design

• CAD/CAM production by Esnan Digital, our in-house dental laboratory

• Clinical try-in and bite assessment

• Adhesive bonding and final quality control

The replacement tooth is individually designed to match the surrounding teeth in shape, proportion, and colour. Because the bridge is fixed in place, it does not need to be removed by the patient for daily use.

A Maryland bridge may not be appropriate in areas exposed to heavy biting forces, in patients with insufficient enamel, or where the supporting teeth are significantly damaged or restored.

Final suitability, material selection, treatment duration, and cost depend on the location of the missing tooth, the condition of the supporting teeth, the patient’s bite, and the overall restorative treatment plan.

Roche Prosthesis

Roche Prosthesis - Esnan Dental Clinics

At Esnan Dental Clinics, a temporary removable partial denture—also known as a dental flipper or Roche prosthesis—is used to temporarily replace one or more missing teeth.

This lightweight, removable prosthesis may be recommended:

• During the healing period after tooth extraction

• While dental implants are integrating with the bone

• Before the final crown, bridge, or implant-supported restoration is completed

• For patients who need a temporary aesthetic solution for missing teeth

• When immediate fixed teeth are not clinically appropriate

Each prosthesis is individually designed according to the location of the missing teeth, gum contours, bite, neighbouring teeth, and aesthetic requirements.

The Esnan Digital workflow may include an intraoral scan or conventional impression, digital design, tooth-shade selection, and production through our in-house dental laboratory. The prosthesis is adjusted to provide a comfortable fit while helping protect healing tissues and avoiding unnecessary pressure on recently placed implants or surgical areas.

A temporary removable partial denture can help maintain the appearance of the smile and provide limited functional support during the transition to the final restoration. It is not permanently fixed and can be removed by the patient for cleaning.

Patients receive instructions regarding insertion, removal, daily hygiene, eating, and protecting the surgical area. Hard or sticky foods should be avoided, and the prosthesis should not be adjusted by the patient.

The number of teeth replaced, treatment duration, design, and final cost depend on the patient’s clinical condition and definitive treatment plan.

Surgical Extraction

Surgical Extraction - Esnan Dental Clinics

At Esnan Dental Clinics, surgical tooth extraction is performed when a tooth cannot be safely or predictably removed using a conventional extraction technique.

Surgical extraction may be recommended for:

• Impacted or partially erupted teeth

• Broken teeth or roots remaining below the gum line

• Severely decayed or non-restorable teeth

• Teeth with complex, curved, or fractured roots

• Wisdom teeth requiring surgical removal

• Teeth that must be removed before implant or full-mouth rehabilitation treatment

Each case begins with a clinical examination and digital X-ray assessment. When required, 3D CBCT imaging may be used to evaluate the tooth roots, surrounding bone, nearby nerves, sinuses, and other anatomical structures before surgery.

The procedure is generally performed under local anaesthesia. Depending on the position and condition of the tooth, treatment may involve:

• A small incision in the gum

• Careful removal of a limited amount of surrounding bone

• Dividing the tooth into smaller sections for controlled removal

• Cleaning and examining the extraction site

• Placement of stitches when required

The procedure is carried out by Esnan’s experienced oral and maxillofacial surgery team with a focus on controlled tissue handling and preservation of the surrounding bone.

If future dental implant treatment is planned, the surgeon will evaluate whether socket preservation, bone grafting, or another procedure is appropriate. Implant placement may be performed during the same appointment in selected cases or after a healing period.

Patients receive detailed aftercare instructions regarding bleeding control, oral hygiene, diet, medication, swelling, and follow-up. Treatment complexity, duration, healing time, and final cost depend on the position of the tooth, root anatomy, infection, bone condition, and any additional procedures required.

General Anesthesia

General Anesthesia - Esnan Dental Clinics

At Esnan Dental Clinics, dental treatment under general anaesthesia may be provided for patients who require extensive procedures, experience severe dental anxiety, have difficulty tolerating treatment while awake, or have specific clinical needs.

Under general anaesthesia, the patient remains unconscious throughout the procedure. Suitability is determined following a detailed dental examination, review of medical history, and pre-anaesthetic assessment.

General anaesthesia may be considered for:

• Multiple dental procedures in one session

• Complex implant and oral surgery

• Full-mouth rehabilitation

• Surgical tooth extractions

• Patients with severe dental anxiety or phobia

• Patients who cannot comfortably tolerate conventional dental treatment

The treatment is planned jointly by the dental and anaesthesia teams. During the procedure, the patient’s breathing, heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen level, and general condition are continuously monitored by the anaesthesia team.

Before treatment, patients receive clear instructions regarding fasting, medications, arrival time, and preparation. After the procedure, the patient is monitored in a dedicated recovery area until the anaesthesia team confirms that discharge or further observation is appropriate.

Patients must follow all pre-operative and post-operative instructions and arrange for a responsible adult to accompany them after treatment.

Final suitability, treatment duration, anaesthesia requirements, recovery arrangements, and cost depend on the patient’s medical condition and the dental procedures planned.

Gingivectomy (Single Tooth)

Gingivectomy (Single Tooth) - Esnan Dental Clinics

At Esnan Dental Clinics, a single-tooth gingivectomy is performed to remove or reshape excess gum tissue around one tooth, improving gum health, tooth visibility, and the balance of the smile.

The procedure may be recommended for:

• Excess or overgrown gum tissue

• An uneven gum line

• Localized periodontal pockets

• Improved access for restorative treatment

• Cosmetic gum contouring

• Exposure of additional tooth structure when clinically appropriate

Before treatment, our dentists or periodontists assess the gums, tooth position, bone level, smile line, and surrounding tissues to determine whether gingivectomy is the most appropriate procedure.

Treatment is generally performed under local anaesthesia. Depending on the clinical situation, the gum tissue may be carefully reshaped using conventional surgical instruments, electrosurgery, or laser-assisted techniques.

The aim is to create a healthy, natural-looking gum contour while preserving the surrounding periodontal tissues. Gingivectomy may also be combined with restorative or cosmetic treatments such as veneers, crowns, or smile makeover procedures when required.

Healing time, treatment method, and final cost depend on the amount of tissue involved, periodontal health, and whether additional treatment is needed.

TL3972 - TL5842

Gingivoplasty

Gingivoplasty - Esnan Dental Clinics

At Esnan Dental Clinics, gingivoplasty is performed to reshape and contour the gum tissue, creating a healthier, more balanced, and natural-looking gum line.

The procedure may be recommended for:

• Uneven or asymmetrical gum contours

• Excess gum tissue or a “gummy smile”

• Irregular gum margins around one or more teeth

• Improving the appearance of short-looking teeth

• Preparing the gums for veneers, crowns, or smile makeover treatment

• Refining the gum shape following periodontal treatment

Before treatment, our dentists or periodontists assess the teeth, gums, smile line, bone level, and facial proportions. A personalized treatment plan is then prepared according to the patient’s periodontal health, restorative needs, and aesthetic expectations.

Gingivoplasty is generally performed under local anaesthesia. Gum tissue is carefully reshaped using a technique selected according to the clinical condition and treatment area.

The aim is to create smooth, symmetrical gum contours while preserving healthy periodontal tissue. Gingivoplasty may be performed as an individual procedure or combined with dental crowns, porcelain veneers, Digital Smile Design, or a complete smile makeover.

Final suitability, treatment method, healing time, number of teeth involved, and cost depend on the patient’s gum condition and overall treatment plan.

TL31544 - TL44396

Gum Grafting

Gum Grafting - Esnan Dental Clinics

At Esnan Dental Clinics, gum grafting is performed to treat gum recession, protect exposed tooth roots, increase soft-tissue thickness, and improve the health and appearance of the gum line.

Gum grafting may be recommended for:

• Receding gums and exposed tooth roots

• Tooth sensitivity caused by root exposure

• Thin or fragile gum tissue

• Preventing further gum recession

• Improving gum support around teeth or dental implants

• Enhancing the gum line before restorative or cosmetic treatment

Each case begins with a detailed periodontal examination. Our periodontists assess the level of gum recession, tissue thickness, tooth position, bone support, oral hygiene, and overall periodontal health before preparing an individualized treatment plan.

Depending on the clinical condition, the procedure may involve tissue taken from the patient’s palate or another suitable graft material. The graft is carefully positioned and secured over the affected area to increase tissue thickness or cover an exposed root.

Treatment is generally performed under local anaesthesia. Microsurgical techniques may be used to support precise tissue handling, stable graft positioning, and natural-looking gum contours.

Gum grafting may help reduce sensitivity, protect the exposed root surface, improve tissue stability, and create a more balanced appearance around teeth or implants.

The grafting technique, number of areas treated, healing period, and final cost depend on the extent of gum recession, tissue condition, and the patient’s overall periodontal treatment plan.

Inlay/Onlay Restoration

Inlay/Onlay Restoration - Esnan Dental Clinics

At Esnan Dental Clinics, zirconia inlay and onlay restorations are used to repair damaged back teeth while preserving as much healthy tooth structure as clinically possible.

An inlay restores the damaged area within the cusps of the tooth, while an onlay extends over one or more cusps when additional coverage and protection are required. These restorations may be recommended when a conventional filling is insufficient but a full dental crown is not necessary.

Inlay or onlay treatment may be suitable for:

• Moderate to extensive tooth decay

• Fractured or weakened back teeth

• Replacement of large or failing fillings

• Teeth requiring additional protection of the chewing surface

• Patients seeking a durable, tooth-coloured restoration

Each treatment begins with a clinical examination and digital assessment. The dentist evaluates the remaining tooth structure, bite, gum health, decay, and any existing restorations before selecting the most appropriate design.

The Esnan Digital workflow may include:

• Removal of decay or damaged restoration

• Conservative preparation of the tooth

• Intraoral digital scanning

• CAD/CAM restoration design

• Precision production by Esnan Digital, our in-house dental laboratory

• Shade selection and aesthetic characterization

• Adhesive bonding, bite adjustment, and final quality control

Zirconia offers high strength, durability, biocompatibility, and a natural tooth-coloured appearance. Each restoration is individually designed to achieve a precise fit, balanced bite, and long-term functional support.

The choice between an inlay, onlay, filling, or full crown depends on the extent of tooth damage, remaining healthy structure, bite forces, and the patient’s overall treatment plan.

Night Guard Plaque (With Canine Protector)

Night Guard Plaque (With Canine Protector) - Esnan Dental Clinics

At Esnan Dental Clinics, a custom night guard with canine guidance is designed to protect the teeth and dental restorations from damage caused by nighttime grinding or clenching (sleep bruxism).

The appliance may be recommended for patients who experience:

• Tooth grinding or jaw clenching during sleep

• Tooth wear, chipping, or small fractures

• Morning jaw fatigue or muscle discomfort

• Damage to crowns, veneers, bridges, or implant-supported restorations

• Excessive biting forces during sleep

Each night guard is individually produced after a detailed examination of the teeth, gums, jaw joints, bite relationship, and existing restorations.

The Esnan Digital workflow may include:

• Intraoral digital scanning

• Bite and jaw-movement analysis

• Digital appliance design

• Production by Esnan Digital, our in-house dental laboratory

• Clinical fitting and bite adjustment

• Follow-up assessment when required

When clinically appropriate, the appliance can be designed with canine guidance. During side-to-side jaw movements, the canine guidance helps control tooth contacts and reduce unnecessary loading on the back teeth and restorations.

The custom-made guard fits securely over the upper or lower teeth and provides a protective barrier between the dental arches. It does not permanently stop bruxism, but it can help reduce wear and protect natural teeth and restorations from excessive forces.

Patients receive instructions regarding nightly use, cleaning, storage, and maintenance. The appliance should be reviewed periodically, particularly if the patient has new dental treatment or notices changes in fit, comfort, or bite.

Expert Root Canal Treatment (Single)

Expert Root Canal Treatment (Single) - Esnan Dental Clinics

At Esnan Dental Clinics, microscope-assisted root canal treatment is performed to remove infected or inflamed tissue from inside a single tooth, relieve dental pain, control infection, and preserve the natural tooth whenever clinically possible.

Treatment may be recommended for:

• Persistent toothache or sensitivity

• Deep decay reaching the dental pulp

• Infection or abscess

• Cracked or traumatised teeth

• Inflammation around the root

• Teeth requiring endodontic treatment before restoration

Each case begins with a clinical examination and digital X-ray assessment. When required, 3D CBCT imaging may be used to evaluate complex root anatomy, additional canals, previous treatment, or infection around the tooth.

Treatment is generally performed under local anaesthesia and includes:

• Isolation of the tooth

• Microscope-assisted examination

• Removal of infected or inflamed pulp tissue

• Cleaning, disinfecting, and shaping the root canals

• Filling and sealing the canal system

• Temporary or permanent restoration, depending on the treatment plan

The dental operating microscope provides enhanced magnification and illumination, helping the dentist identify fine anatomical details and manage narrow or complex root canals with greater precision.

Treatment is carried out by Esnan’s experienced endodontic team using modern rotary instruments, digital imaging, irrigation protocols, and magnification-assisted techniques.

Following root canal treatment, the tooth may require a filling, onlay, or dental crown to protect its remaining structure. The final treatment method, number of appointments, duration, and cost depend on the type of tooth, root canal anatomy, infection level, and whether previous root canal treatment has been performed.

Sinus Lifting & Bone Grafting (One Side)

Sinus Lifting & Bone Grafting (One Side) - Esnan Dental Clinics

At Esnan Dental Clinics, unilateral sinus lifting and bone grafting is performed to increase bone volume in the back of the upper jaw when there is insufficient bone to support dental implants.

The procedure may be recommended when bone height has reduced following tooth loss or when the maxillary sinus is positioned close to the jawbone. By carefully elevating the sinus membrane and placing bone graft material beneath it, the surgical team creates additional support for future implant placement.

Each case begins with a detailed clinical examination and 3D CBCT assessment. Our oral and maxillofacial surgeons evaluate the remaining bone height, sinus anatomy, gum condition, and planned implant position before preparing a personalized surgical plan.

Treatment generally includes:

• 3D CBCT imaging and digital implant planning

• Sinus membrane elevation on one side

• Placement of suitable bone graft material

• Protection and stabilization of the grafted area

• Implant placement at the same appointment when clinically appropriate, or after a healing period

• Post-operative monitoring and follow-up

The procedure is performed under local anaesthesia by Esnan’s experienced implant surgery team. Digital planning helps determine the safest surgical approach and the most suitable implant position.

Depending on the available bone, sinus anatomy, and required graft volume, a lateral or minimally invasive crestal approach may be considered. The type of graft material and whether the implant can be placed simultaneously are determined individually.

Healing time, treatment duration, and final cost depend on the patient’s bone condition, sinus anatomy, grafting requirements, and overall implant treatment plan.
