He is a Singapore Dental Council (SDC) Certified Specialist in Prosthodontics. A Prosthodontist is a trained dental specialist who specialises in the areas of dental implants, crowns and bridges as well as cosmetic dentistry. The committee is given the task of maintaining the clinical standards for the treatment of Edentulism with Dental Implants in Singapore.Dr Christopher Sim obtained his dental degree from the National University of Singapore in 1981. He completed his MDS primary exam in 1982 before proceeding to the world renowned Institute of Dental Surgery, Eastman Dental Hospital, London for specialist training. He graduated with M.Sc.in Restorative Dentistry (London) in 1984.In 1998 he was inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine. In 2003 he was conferred FAMS (Prosthodontics) by the Academy of Medicine.

Dr Ivan Lim is a Senior Consultant in Orthodontics. He is also a clinical teacher for the MDS Orthodontics post graduate residency programme at the National University of Singapore. Dr Lim obtained his dental qualifications in 1987 and his Orthodontic qualifications in 1994. He was also the past president of the Association of Orthodontics ( Singapore )

Dr Lim vast experiences in Orthodontics includes:

1) Early Interceptive Orthodontics in Children. This involves early diagnosis and treatment of malocclusion at an early age so as to minimise or simplify orthodontic treatment when the child grows older.

2) Conventional Orthodontic Treatment for teenagers and adults. This may be in the form of metal braces or ceramic braces. In simpler cases Invisalign may be used .

3) Specialised Orthodontic Treatment ?Invisible Braces or Lingual Braces. These are braces that are bonded to the inner side of the teeth and thus they are not visible when you are smiling or talking.

4) Surgical Orthodontics. This involves braces treatment in collaboration with an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon so as to treat facial and jaw deformity.

Dr Ja graduated Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1994. In 1998 she obtained her MSc in Paediatric Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Institute for Oral Health Care Sciences London, UK. She has special interest in treating children. This includes children who are mentally subnormal or medically compromised. Her forte is in management of children who has a fear for dental treatment. Dr Ja was also inducted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine in 2006. She is on the Academy of Medicine Roll of Specialist as a Pedodontist (Children Dentistry).
